so i just bought this radio for my 2012 chevy 2500 HD.....I bought it used and its just the radio and Wire harness. What all do i need to buy for it and to run my steering wheel controls? could you give me part #s......im frustrated because there is alot of stuff missing that ill need. Thank you man

Did just grounding the parking break wire work or did you have to go another route? Just curious. I have the same radio.

How well does it fit? Does it gave no more clearance behind it? Does it ever over heat with the fan so close to that plastic back plate of your dash opening?

It fits perfect. I have no overheating issues although it was pretty tight with all of the wiring and components I installed during the process, but you can push it up just enough for everything to fit

How did you connect the red and yellow wires? Did you connect them yellow to yellow and red to red??
i got same truck as you I recently purchased and got the avh-w4400nex

yea you need it for the android auto experience when using waze and stuff.
