It isn't so crazy. Kazuya isn't special for having a terrible upbringing. Infact he's caused millions more people to go through hell because of the war he caused. I don't remember who said it but I know that someone said "what separates a great man from a weak one is whether they overcome or succumb to their circumstances."
Kazuya is arguably the most powerful man in the Tekken universe, but he still carries all the resentment from his childhood, and in that sense he hasn't overcome his circumstances yet.
It makes sense that Jun would be sympathetic however, she fell in love with him for whatever reason so she wants to believe that there's something there worth saving. Maybe she's right. I hope so.
@A J I still want my boy to redeem himself. Life without growth and progression is meaningless. To have him be bad just to be bad all the time is a corny one trick pony and one dimensional character design. He had to be good at some point for him and Jun to have Jin and for her to still care about him. Theres still good in him, like Darth Vader. #saveKaz

that is their intro,believe it or not. MainMan said that during the beta he saw that each character has their own special interactions with each other before rounds,similar to the NRS games,which is super cool to me. Even the first trailer with Jin and Kazuya is their intro,which goes right into the iconic Bandai intro with the two of them winding up their punches to hit each other. The love and care is beyond belief

It will probably be torture to play ranked with all these "aggressive" mechanics but anyway I can't wait to play the sequel to my favorite videogame, after 1000h on Tekken 7 it couldn't be otherwise, I'm also tempted to buy it around day 1 🤤

It's a very specific thing, but I'm glad that there are so many variations of the pre-round-fight camera pans, some even being unique to each stage it seems

I REALLY hope they decrease the effects and sparkles. It's hard to see what's even happening for a good portion of the matches
I believe Harada tweeted that they can be toned down. I imagine they'll need to tone it down for online by default since there will be a lot going on, similar to how they used to take out the people in the background in Tag 2 online to avoid uploading too much data.
And all these cutscenes also are a bit annoying

So I noticed that Devil Kazuya uses a small amount of meter for all his laser attacks and his ground stomp. I'd assume that all thse moves will be heavily buffed because of this fact.

We need more Tekken characters interacting with each other. Tekken 7 severely lacking in story/interaction with non-mishima characters. Thankfully the game has special Intro and hopefully this game has more content than 7

What is worrying is that kazuya was already somewhat of a strong character but definetly underpowered in tekken 7. Watching him explain the changes, the vast majority fears it is a little bit too much. Yes he really deserves it because he will be one of the main focuses of the game, at the same time jin had to trade the zen cancels for a broken move while kazuya just got buffs.
You also have to consider that these new buffs must be seen in the context of the yet unseen T8 characters. Sure, Tekken 8 Kaz looks op in the context of Tekken 7, but when Tekken 8 launches maybe he'll still end up being a bottom mid tier, just cuz everyone else turns out to be much stronger than they were in T7
