I was the most stressed, and the happiest I had ever been as a 1L while I was a university athlete. I was in two law school student orgs, went to a lot of visiting speakers, but everyday I had rowing at 6 am and 5 pm and needed to do all my work outside of those hours and class time. It was so rigorous, but being away from the law school bubble was incredible for mental health and productivity
Julian. I know you're getting started with the page, and as an incoming freshman at UCLA, I really enjoy your content and am grateful that you're taking the initiative to give your time and effort into each video. I support and will support all of your contents. Keep doing what you do. I hope you know that your content and your channel is giving value to society, one video at a time... :)
What if my extracurriculars are less than ideal (worked at a restaurant during HS and undergrad, did some volunteering in schools, and was a catalog counselor during the summer) but I have an interesting story (went to a community college, first gen college student, worked throughout undergrad). How will this look to top tier law schools? Or do I have a chance of gaining admission with the proper numbers? I also have a 3.95 gpa from a really small school in PA.
That is totally fine - I would just focus on the stats and you can always explain later but you're still doing good stuff (working etc.) so I wouldn't worry!
@@julianinlaw yea I’m all over that. Does GPA from a community college alter my chances to get into a good law school? Considering I been doing excellent since I transferred from the CC.
You're the mentor I never had. Thank you for positively influencing lives, Julian! 🙏
You are so welcome Jenny!!! Thank you so much for being part of our community :))))
