You can buy yellow implement paint that is telly close to John Deere online or at Tractor Supply for less money. Remember that blades and blade pulleys need to be torqued to 50-90 foot pounds. Don't know what your impact goes to, but you can test with a torque wrench. Mine only hits about 50 foot pounds. Mower is really looking nice!
Very informative video about lawn mower repair. I'm wondering whether you're up for a collaboration. Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more novices in the community?
@@WeekendHobbyMechanic I’m rebuilding mine …but it doesn’t look nothing close to yours…underneath is rusted a little…probably they all are rusted a little or more.
Too much money spent on parts for a machine that old. Amazon parts are way less and as for the paint, you can get the same color from rustoleum by mixing the dark green and yellow and spray it on with a 10 dollar hf gravity feed gun
Old is a relative term when it comes to lawn mowers. Mowers don’t age like cars, if they run properly and are in good shape and do what they did out of the factory hours don’t really count.

From Canada. Don’t think you offer free shipping.
@@WeekendHobbyMechanic usually it's not a problem to ship to Canada.

Nice work, if I may ask how much did you end up selling the machine for?
I ended up keeping it for my personal use.

So you restored the DECK only…not the tractor

POR not worth the effort. Consumer product at commercial prices. Then you use a cheap top coat.
