So true. This truck comes here almost everyday and there have been days when he shows up first thing in the morning with a load then right before closing with another potato salad load. Crazy

Many years ago when I worked at our local Honor Farm I would often take out work crews for the day. Once at the county dump a semi truck and trailer backed up next to us with the trailer completely full on brand new not expired Cool Whip. The driver himself took a large case for himself and placed it up front. I asked what was up. Apparently the new container was slightly different in size from previous containers and they forgot to recalibrate the amount of product. They were off by nearly an ounce in every container. This was before cell phones so I took a chance and loaded God knows how many cases in our work truck. When I got back to the Honor Farm I met with my Lieutenant and he called in the on duty cook for our facility. They were both like “Hell yeah!” We had enough to give excess to all three jail facilities of ours. All the officers I worked with at the Honor Farm took him several of the still frozen containers Proctor and Gamble didn’t care since we took it out of the trash and didn’t try to sell it. We had fruit salad at work for what seemed like weeks with the Cool Whip holding it all together. Take the wins when you get them! 😊
This reminds me of when I used to work in general waste 💀 sorting out all the stuff from each other and putting them in the right buckets for going to the factory's

Bury the trash and then once the landfill gets to capacity the coverage with a deep layer of dirt, and then after a couple years once trees bushes weeds and animals come back it’ll look like no trash was ever there
Ok, I know in past vids it's been said all that potato salad is from the manufacturing plant.... Why in the hell are they producing so much potato salad if it's just going to rot and get thrown away? What a total waste of food and money and resources! I just don't get it! Am I missing something? Does anyone know what company it is?
At least bring it to a compost facility... you'd think that would be cheaper than TS prices. The nearest TS to me is 1.5x the cost of the landfill, both operated by the same company. Disposal isn't cheap and trucking it around town costs a lot of money too.
The TS operator asked the driver to dump on the floor instead of the pit because their truck had too much weight and he didn’t need that much to fill the trailer.
Wonder why the price of food is so high? Same with auto manufacturers. Made too many cars? Can't sell them 2 model years later! Crush them or send to the desert to rot away.
