    I purchased and install the yellow version (cost twice as much as white!) from Amazon, initially in the horizontal orientation which I thought logically should work as it is the same orientation as the factory halogen bulb orientation on my 2004 Toyota Sienna. After turning them on, I was not able to see any yellow light beam coming from the normal driving position unless I lean forward all the way toward the windshield or look at the fog lights from outside of the vehicle. Since there were a few reviews mention on the Amazon that these light bulbs was dim for LED bulbs so I thought that was normal since these are only ~9W/bulb after all. After watching this video and reading the AUXITO manual instruction carefully again, next day I reinstalled them in the vertical orientation and was able to see the yellow beams covering the entire front as well as the extra wide corner arears on both far side of the bumper where the current high power 65W/30,000LM/bulb HIKARI 2023 Futurer with the Titanova LED light chips headlight bulbs does not cover. Vertical orientation is definitely the only way to install these LED bulbs for optimal light output on these fog light housing and AUXITO seems to be the only H3 bulb manufacture I am able to find on Amazon to have the extra cut outs on the metal disk bracket to accommodate both orientations. This actually explains why a few reviewers on Amazon mentioned about the output was dimmer than they expected as they might had installed these bulbs in the horizontal position.
    After the installation I did re-aim the fog light alignment with the industry alignment standard procedure to get the optimal coverage while avoiding hyper flashing the in coming traffic:
    - Inflate all tires at Cold Tire Temperature Standard of 68F/20C with regular daily load throughout the vehicle after parking for over 3 hours or overnight at recommended or desired tire pressure level
    - Park the vehicle on a leveled flat surface with a flat wall and measure 25 feet between the flat wall to the middle of the fog light lenses (not the bumper or the license plate)
    - Measure the height distance from the ground up to the middle of the fog light lens (14" for me)
    - Adjust both fog light top cut off beams 4" lower than the previous measured distance from the ground up on the flat wall (10" for me)
    Thanks for making this helpful video.

    Great video! I’m going to install. Lasfit brand H3 in my original fog housings. Can you recommend that brand of aftermarket housings you installed? How have they held up? Any leaking, hazing or alignment issues? I see plenty like those on eBay but hesitant to buy? Any help would be appreciated?

      The best color for fog lights is yellow. Yellow lights are the best among fog light colors because they hit your retina in a way that enables you to focus on the road. Staring constantly at white light can frustrate the eye, and darker colors like blue and green have limited wavelength. In addition, yellow fog lights penetrate foggy weather better than other light colors.

    Bought some similar H3 LED for my 2007 GX470 and they don’t work, tried both bulbs in both fog lights, even switched polarity and nothing. Returned them and ordered the ones you have here, hopefully they work.

      Was it working with the halogens? Keep in mind that those H3 have a weird ground wire.

    Is there a difference between setting the LED bulb in the vertical orientation vs horizontal orientation?

      To mimick halogen, vertical is best.

    Those fog light housings are made in Japan and are not cheap if anything just do the 3 step sanding method.

    • @TunerwithKids
      @TunerwithKids  ปีที่แล้ว

      They were done. I already sanded them at one point. They are expensive, more than the headlights, but not worth the money.

      @TunerwithKids he’s referring to the actual removal of the fogs. Like how you disconnected the power source for the lamp.

      @jwiggs82 It was literally a 10mm which I pointed out before I did it. And there’s a an electrical plug, if I have to show someone how unscrew and unplug a bulb, this hobby ain’t for them.
