As a fishing enthusiast in Australia, it still amazes me how your sewer systems are still clean enough to hold such a variety of beautiful & sometimes exotic fish 🥲
In Japan, a lot of smaller natural rivers and creeks have actually had these walls and bases built around them like this in order to both prevent them from shifting over time and preserve them, and in some regions in order to more easily provide channels and canals for irrigation to rice fields in the surrounding areas. It's more likely that this is one such river that has been funneled into a constructed path than a sewer system, in my opinion! There's a river quite near me that's been built up like this for the portion of it that runs through the farming town I live in. Given that Japan is such a mountainous collection of islands (and therefore has a lot of rivers), and the population centers are fairly concentrated, a lot of rivers that would flow through a city or town are protected in this way so that things can be built very close to them without danger to the buildings' foundations from shifting water pathways. Sometimes grey-water is still piped out into these rivers to flow away, but waste usually isn't, so I don't know if sewer system quite fits.
I actually enjoyed seeing the casts attempts. The transparency on how not every cast is a perfect one is something a lot of other fishing channels do not show. AMAZING CONTENT FROM ONE FISHERMEN TO ANOTHER! 🇺🇸
The way you fish, they way you record it, they way you presented it to us is epic, no unnecessary music or any other sound, just a little drop sound is more than enough, the way you edit the video is super nice..... I learn a lot from this video alone, subscribed for future learning sessions

That is the first Cherry Trout I have ever seen--almost a cross between a rainbow and an Atlantic Salmon--just beautiful. Take care and keep the posts coming.

Casting a lure this size is different from casting a fly. You have to put it well past where you think the fish are, then reel it in through the target zone. A relatively small fish in relatively shallow water will spook if something that large falls directly above. Beautiful fish, btw. I wish comparable water in built environments in the US supported char and trout.
Totally respect the catch and release idea, whether it's the law there or not. It is beautiful seeing the release back to their home. Might feel different, if I was truly hungry, just saying.
These Canals in the US, at least, have been treated with harsh chemicals and although the fishing is awesome, nobody should digest those harmful chemicals.
Sometimes I wish I kept some fish I let go, sometimes using bait they swallow it and the hook is stuck in their stomach always wondered if they live or not after cutting the line
@@libtard.4844 Fish stomachs specifically in trout are pretty strong. A fish and game warden (The Police of the fishing world in the US) said don't worry to much since they digest it. However if the fish is bleeding a lot when you catch it it will die if you let it go and it's best to keep it.

I can never understand why guys fishing for trout take so long to reel in and land the fish while it just thrashes there. Don’t tell me it’s to land them cuz All that thrashing with treble hooks actually injures the fish more and increases the chance of you losing them. Just reel it in and land it. Why make so much drama and injure the fish even more?
Now this is a content creator... buddy has 4 cameras set up on a city creek and has a great way of displaying the catch in a tank for the viewers pleasure. Good job bub
Nice video man those cherry trout are really pretty! I love your editing style and it was clever showing us the fish through the transparent container. I've noticed that you complicate fishing too much for yourself though. Persisting to use a bait finesse setup and all those fancy flick-flick underarm casts is very counter-productive. Anyone using an ultra light or light spinning setup would have been able to hit the spot on the first or second try. Instead you spooked the fish with all those failed casts and hitting the walls all the time. Sometimes, it's best to keep it simple and not make it more complicated than it needs to be, after all the most important thing is to actually catch the fish. Get yourself a fast action 2m 1-10g rod and a size 1000 shimano reel + pe 0.8 braid+fluoro and it will change your life forever 🤙

s字全般に言えることですが、トラウト類もスライドの惰性に弱いのでそういう使い方を意識すると見切らにくいしバイトも深いです。
ジョイクロは巻いて釣れるS字系なのでスライドの距離は出にくいですが、ウェイト貼ったりフック変えたりすると仕掛けやすくなるのでオススメです♪
