But if your talking about video editing I use a simple free program called Shot Cut. I find other programs like Davinci Resolve unnecessarily complicated.
At many places fires are not allowed on the ground and must be contained in a fire pit or something like a Camp Maid. In a Total Fire Ban these could not be used. Rgds Dennis
@@caravancooking Cheers Dennis. I know that fire regs vary. Here in Sth Aust you can use 'non solid' fuel on some ban days.. Fire ban and heat beads seemed a bit incongruous!... lol
Good job mate, just one question if you don’t mind me asking. Camp Maid say you should not use there gadget with the spring up like you have done because they reckon you will cause damage. I personally don’t see a problem, what’s your opinion? Cheers Peter
Sorry Dennis, but camp maid say you should use it the other way up so as the heat bead tray is not under the spring hanger.if that makes sense. Goggle Camp Maid and they a big cross through cooking that way
@@peterclarey3007 I get it. If you were going to use it that way you would need a little grill plate to hold the camp oven. An extra bit of kit to carry. I have not had any problems cooking the way I show in the video. But I do brush down all surfaces with a bristle brush when it has cooled down so there is no residue ash. I'll certainly get more than $30 worth of value out of it. I also cooked a fabulous Lamb Shanks in Red Wine Sauce this way and will edit the video in the near future. All the best. Rgds Dennis
10000 times more advanced than my technique!!!
LOL. Don't short change yourself Robert. With the food thermometer it's almost just plug and play.

Thanks for your kind comment. Rgds Dennis
You said that no fires were allowed...
How is burning heat beads not a fire?

Thx Peter.
Pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by the spring being up?
