Tom, I find your Yaskawa tutorials to be helpful, but I do have a further question. I know that there is a momentary jog function, but I am looking for a method to run a continuous program for testing repeatable movements. Is Sigmawin able to run a program that will jog it clockwise and counterclockwise repeatedly via the program or do I need to find another method to run a program? And if i am unable to run it thru Sigmawin do you have any recommendations? My controller is SGDH-01AE and Im controlling a SGMPH-01AAE motor. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide me.
Hi I've brought a used SGDS-01A01A and when connected it to the servomotor I've noticed that the driver needed some tuning as I had some vibrations. When tried to use FN017 ADVANCED AT noticed that the drive was write protected. When tried to remove the write protection I found out that is is password protected. Then I tried to connect servo drive with the PC. I made the PC to Drive cable as per datasheet SigmaWinFIII200.pdf Page 281 (A1) but the SigmaWin+ is not finding my Driver. Any suggestion please.
Hello samca2012 To release the write protection go to FN010 and enter 0000 this should release the Write protection. As far as the cable, check to ensure you have the proper pinout. Enter 0001 to write protect at the next power up of the drive .
Sir I need your help, our drive is fault we plan to buy new drive ,I has program for that machine .now I want to write program to new one. What's my doubt only write program and jog is enough or tuning need can tell me how to do kindly help me sir.

Hi Tom i revived different alarms on yaskawa sigma II 50ada and 20ada. And i am trying to set parameters through software, after changing the parameters i want to check them jog test etc. but it git trips. my procedure connect the cable, open the sigma plus, go online, find servo, connect servo, then go to jog if servo amplifier already repaired, in jog on the motor. but when i on the motor through software amplifier got trip. Normally i go A10, A30, AC9, AF5, AF6 & A81 alarms. Could be advise about that.

If you're talking about auto-tune it's always good to Auto-Tune it sets up your servo or your motor for the highest performance possible

The Model SGPM is a servo motor. If you can give me the Model of the servo pack I maybe able to help.
