Thank you, David! I appreciate it! Also - I covered your question in QfC 27 about glissando and portamento, but I realized afterwards that I left out scooping! I'll cover it in another video though! Thanks as always for your input! Jeff
@@JeffRolka Thank you for all the effort in continuing to put out your amazing content. I have a number of your videos that I work through on a daily basis and your warm, calm personality is a bright point of my day. Stay warm! Get a beanie for Lamp!
Thank you for doing these! I started a new job that requires me to talk all day and I noticed it was wrecking my singing voice. I’ve started doing your warmups like this before work each day and it’s helped tremendously!
Wonderful! I use these styles of warm ups for that very thing myself. I talk a lot - teaching, making videos, etc....and it's very taxing on the voice. Keep it up! Jeff
Dear Jeff! Tell me please. What type of voice do I have and what chants should I do? For tenor or baritone? The tenor exercises are too high for me and the baritone exercises are too low and uncomfortable for me. My lowest note is E2, highest is falsetto B5. What type of voice do I have? Some teachers say I'm a high tenor and others say I'm a baritone.
This combined with one of your older gentle warm ups has been perfect for getting ready for a second day in a row of carol singing. Thank you!
I love these gentle warmups,; they are so soothing and beneficial.🌠☺️📸
Without any further ado at 1:34 😉 Thanks Jeff! 🐯

I remain a fan of these gentle warmups. They allow me to work on my appoggio and articulation in a way upper range exercises don't. Good video.

Great lesson! Thx Jeff!
Thanks for helping us, Jeff. You're very helpful!
When it is really freezing I find it useful to start with a pianissimo, as the voice gets really unwilling to come off. Sorry my bad English.
Nothing beats subscribing to a new channel only to have them turn around and release a fantastic new video right after subscribing. Thanks Mr. R!
Get used to it! Plus Jeff has a ton of great exercises in his back catalog.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thanks for subscribing!
Jeff
Thank you for that, @Will Ernst! Very kind!

It's not as simple as knowing your highest and lowest notes I'm afraid.
Best,
Jeff
Altos better start well below middle C , for a healthy voice, I suggest for experience, not just like a mezzo or a soprano. :)
