Hi Frenchie, this is a very old technique. Bought my guilds flakes at least 4 yes ago. The flakes come in different colors also. I have the gold, silver, and copper. If you just use your hands to rub it instead of the brush, you really push the flakes into the tear and tape. Yes, it does fly everywhere! It really makes a mess!! Don’t have a fan or air conditioner going when using these! Glad SU finally got this product.

The VersaMark is a ink NOT a glue you need glue to get the gold leafing to stick
