Love the cards. Not too much gilding. Just enough. The Green card is stunning with it's blue highlights and the embossing and the ribbon. My goodness it's Magic. You are so clever.
Beautiful card. I love the colors and the gilding flakes. Like always you demonstrate right in front of us and you’re so calm and do an amazing job of walking us through how you make your special cards. I am very empresses with you. I may not see the original but I will always watch your reruns. Thank you kindly for sharing your wonderful ideas.
Beautiful cards. On your magenta card, I like it without a sentiment. The butterfly and flower catches the eye. Thank you for all the great tips and the info on the tape for vellum.
BEAUITFUL. Oh yeah I have some of that tape , yes it does , WORK , I always wonder why no one has found it , iv had mine for at least 5 yrs , I love it ♥️♥️♥️Tfs sharing, love all of your videos, ♥️♥️♥️🌹
Linda you make the most stunning cards. I think a thinner edge of gold on the edges, ( perhaps a rough edge applied with your pen & versa mark or even a versa mark pen or glue pen) would please you more. But as I said, they are stunning ❤️
I've never had much success with guilding flakes, usually ending up with a sticky mess. But you've used both Versamark and Heat & Stick powder with good effect, also double sided tape. I must investigate this. Lovely cards.
Love this technique Linda, and your cards are very elegant! I have not tried this yet, however; I have found that drawing a random pattern with a gold gel pen, letting it dry, and then doing the alcohol technique over it, makes for a very pretty card also!:) Thank You for the nice video! Take care and many Blessings!
Linda, I always enjoy your videos so much. These cards are truly beautiful and the backgrounds remind me of the "polished stone" technique popular several years ago. Doing these on vellum is very ethereal and I really want to try this. Also, the gilding you showed some different techniques which made it look much easier. Thank you so much for your organization, and for your very pleasant manner. You make me feel like I would love to know you. Beth Jones
Beautiful cards I can’t wait to go to my craft table and try this out. You totally made my day today with these two videos. I don’t have a demonstrator. You rock it ladybug
WOWEE, Linda! These are AMAZING designs! I LOVE the BLENDS ALCOHOL BACKGROUNDS a lot! The “Thanks” card is lovely! I do like the ‘Butterly on Magenta/Red”, too, but I do think the “Gilded Flakes” are too overwhelming on the border~~do love the flakes on the butterfly n’ flower, tho’! Perhaps NO SENTIMENT AT ALL would be fine on this card, too, just letting the Background n’ Gilded Images “speak for themselves”! I agree that one just “has to play” with the products to “get the look” we each enjoy! I’m thinking, too, that Die Cutting the “Highland Heather, etc.” vellum w/the Hydrangea could be GORGEOUS n’ maybe even leaves w/the “GREEN” vellum??!! In your last video, you’d done a “lighter pink” version and I wonder if that Die Cut w/the PEONY (or even with this Magenta/Red Vellum) would turn out to be lovely, too! Hhhhhmmmm! Will definitely have to “play” with those ideas! FUN, FUN, FUN! Sure gets your creative juices flowing any way you do it! :-)). TFS n’ HAPPY CREATIN’! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))))))
@@LindaInkandIngenuity happy that you liked my thoughts on the design, too! Thank you! I often wonder IF I should do that but I think it’s helpful (for me at least) to get other’s opinions n’ suggestions on designs! Hoping you agree! :-)
Such lovely cards! I really liked it when you gave us options for working with the flakes and ideas on how to control the mess. I really enjoyed this video.
As always your color combination is perfect! The reddish pink card looks good to me. I think I might have tried setting the sentiment on gold with a very small border. Thanks for the great ideas. Looking forward to your next video❣️
What a beautiful card! Watched your previous video where you used the vellum and Blends to make the “ over the top gorgeous paper”! What a fantastic idea! Always love your videos. Thanks so much for sharing. Greetings from Saskatoon Saskatchewan!
Thank you Linda.....this is absolutely a gorgeous card! I will definitely be giving it a try. Thank you for sharing you hard work and talents with all!
I like using the gilding flakes in their box. I love your SU blends alcohol blend work…very pretty. I really don’t like the SU adheasive. It shouldn’t be so difficult to use or expensive. I’m a demonstrator but I just can’t get behind that one. I love the rest of their products.
Oh, my, just thought that HEARTS punched or die cut on the Magenta/Red Vellum would be darling, too! :-)). See what I mean about getting our creative juices flowin’??!!! More SMILES from Madison, WI! :-)))
The pink cards sentiment I feel is too dark Maybe just ink it in gold as there is no other black or dark red on this card. Love the technique of this card hoiid job.
Love the cards. Not too much gilding. Just enough. The Green card is stunning with it's blue highlights and the embossing and the ribbon. My goodness it's Magic. You are so clever.

Very Elegant using the guided flakes, it’s on back order so will order 2 when available! Thanks for sharing such an elevated card!
Beautiful cards. On your magenta card, I like it without a sentiment. The butterfly and flower catches the eye. Thank you for all the great tips and the info on the tape for vellum.
Thank you so much! I think that might be right have a sentiment on the inside only.

Thanks Samantha!
Just Beautiful! Not too much. Would have left without sentiment as its more a work of art.
Wow, thank you! That might just be the ticket Carol I was really not happy with any of the choices.
I've never had much success with guilding flakes, usually ending up with a sticky mess. But you've used both Versamark and Heat & Stick powder with good effect, also double sided tape. I must investigate this. Lovely cards.
There are lots of ways to apply them without making a mess, good luck!
Thank you for your beautiful demonstrations. I love watching you making every card. My favorite thing to do. Erm
Thanks Earla!
I love ths!
Thanks Wendy!
I wouldn't have put a sentiment on the 2nd card at all... inside is enough! Good work.
Thanks Jan.
No love that red and magenta! You make AMAZING cards!❤️❤️❤️❤️
It was surprisingly pretty.

Hi Jan interesting I will try this.
@@LindaInkandIngenuity i think you will like it. It is just another great way to change things up a bit!:)
There is never too much of gilding flakes,. Beautiful cards as always!
Thanks so much Barbara!
Love the cards. The colors are beautiful. I think I would have used a pink paper for the a little note card. ❤❤❤
Linda who makes that vellum tape runner. Magnificent cards! Love those techniques.
They are made by a company called PLUS. I got mine on Amazon.

Very nice. I would have edged the bottom word piece in gold b4 adhering. Barb from Anaheim
Interesting.

Your cards are stunning! Great technique!
love these. Please tell me who won for January, hopefully ME.
please tell me who won for january?
The pink cards sentiment I feel is too dark Maybe just ink it in gold as there is no other black or dark red on this card. Love the technique of this card hoiid job.
Linda, I think the red for the sentiment is too dark. Maybe the sentiment gilded on white.
Hi Lori When I finally decide I will bring it back to a video to show you all what I did. I really did not like any of the choices at the time.
Yes, too much gold. The gold border is too much. I think a tiny gold then backed on white base. The other cards were just right and fabulous!
Thanks Kathy!
