Very interesting about not using the "Leads" module... I own an insurance brokerage and find that it's a wonky system in following up with client who are in both the "Leads" and "Contact" modules, so I may have to ditch the "Leads" module entirely and then just use a drop down field for the "Contact Type" as you did. Thanks!
@@BluRoot Awesome - Thanks! Just watched it and I agree that the leads module is a bit of a waste of time... I'm in B2C, and unless you have a ton of leads, I don't really think the leads module makes sense... I also have clients that I send quotes to who are both in the leads and the contacts module, and when doing so, I have to go into each module and follow up that way, as you can't send out mass emails based on quote status via the activities module which is a big issue with Zoho.
If you don't see a contact in the columns that means they have a value in their "picklist" that you have used for the column headings that does not exist.
Hi Garry, If you "hide" the module no data will be lost but you will not be able to see the leads etc. There is a mass convert function where you can auto convert all leads into a contact prior to you getting rid of the module. That may work best for you.
Can Zoho integrate with IVANS downloads to add/update clients and policies automatically? I own a P&C agency and my job would be so much easier having an agency management system and CRM all in one system.

Great advice on just using contacts. One issue: in Kanban view all the column headings appear without the contact record. Anyway to address that?

Are Policies used as Products? or are they custom?? And Are carriers vendors or a custom module?
Great video, thank you!
What happens to the existing lead records if I remove the module? Some of them have notes, activities and tags?
