Almost got one from timberline but the shipping doubled the price. One day…

Yeah, a lot of folks are having that issue. The Timberline is cheap, but only if you're close to where they're manufactured/shipped. They're not popular enough to be in every major guitar store in the world, but if we keep spreading the word about how much fun this instrument is, like you said... maybe one day!

I recently found a Holloway Dyer copy that had a cracked top. Paid 300 bucks for it and a bit more to get it repaired. It's not a very good quality instrument but enough to learn a bit and have fun with it, for now.

Glad you got one! That's a damn good deal at that price.

Great video. I always wanted a harp guitar but you’re right about the entry price. Years ago I looked into an Emerald guitar but it was definitely out of the budget.
The only harp guitar I’ve had the pleasure of playing was At Mandolin Bros. In NY. (Before it closed)
It was a Gibson from 1909 and I was amazed at how comfortable it was to hold and play.
    Thanks for the inspiration. :)

In my opinion the Gibsons are some of the worst examples of harp guitars out there. Yeah, they're super cool and fun, and having 10 sub basses are nice, but they sound pretty bad compared to some of the other ones out there.
I used to get on eBay/Reverb every other day in search of a harp guitar I could afford. I ended up finding one built by a guy named Stephen Wishnevsky. I spent $550 shipped for my first harp guitar. It was pretty bad. The bridge and nut were made out of countertop material like granite or something. No truss rod in the neck, and the frets were poking out, stabbing me constantly. Still, I have a lot of respect for Wishnevsky for making a harp guitars for cheap. At the end of the day, it still worked, and it still sounded like a harp guitar.
He's still making instruments as far as I can tell. You can find a video of me playing that Wishnevsky here:
