Oh my god, I saw a sub 7 run yesterday; I was already speechless, but that was not a TA rule run. In comparison, Peppo you are such a beast; except the miss of spirit thrust at 1:53, this run is just perfect. I think it’s safe to say that you are one of the best long sword players if not the best one in the world. I will always be rooting for you. \^O^/

My guess is that since alatreon was still enraged the roar that it did wasn’t one you could affected by. 🤷🏽♂️ Its just a guess so I don’t really know.

Don't know if you're wanting to go back but a good armor combo I found might do more dps from my testing. I have found 2 piece velk Y with 3 Safi + fenrir or 2 piece fatalis/ velk/ one person piece ff barioth for the stun

EDIT: I wonder if it was a desperate attempt of finishing the run ASAP to get a better timing then the last one but I would like to know if thats the case. When I was close to 15min (my best run was 16min) I started doing things I don't normally do to not waste the run and try for a better time.

Ciao Pietro, grazie. No il set Safi non è meta per la LS, lo è solo in alcuni casi, come Namielle arcitemprato, Alatreon e forse barioth (ma non ne sono sicuro). Il fight dell' alatreon ruota intorno ad un continuo check di danno elementale che tu fai, quindi maggiore è il danno elementale, più facile e veloce è la caccia.

I saw another sub-7 by Honeybutter that wasn't labelled TA - he/she used smoke bombs when the AI looked like it was gonna start doing the 'Kelbi on coke' flying routine. Are smoke bombs allowed for TA? Assuming not, but if they were you could cut down on the AI RNG a bit.
Ah, that argument on DB's makes sense. Only tried out Safi set once with Health Augment on Dbs and didnt feel safe since you cant completely outheal the dmg. Will try it out with ls for sure
I am kinda shocked that you have only 1 Critical Eye. I usually try to max it at 7 and it takes a lot of decoration space. Why don't you max it ? Is it not worth it ?

How did you dodge the roar at 4:12? The timing of your evade roll was early but you were still not affected?
My guess is that since alatreon was still enraged the roar that it did wasn’t one you could affected by. 🤷🏽♂️ Its just a guess so I don’t really know.
Safi armor has evade window 3, that's probably why

Critical Element adds too much damage, which is on the Kulve weapon automatically.

Late, but safi armor gives 40% affinity and the weapon another 20% more, I would prefer to put 1 lvl of speed eating instead.
What is it that your doing to make your helm splitter go down faster?
IF you press Y button as soon as you reach top or starts to come down that will be faster. down motion by default is slow.

Is it just me or does long sword moveset fit scythe type weapon more than actual sword?
Thrusts and sheath attacks make no sense with the Scythe, and the slash attacks hit at a weird angle
And sometimes the thrust attack connects, but the scythe is so short and bent to the side that it didn’t even look like it connected.
