Glad to see you cleaning this 82 Scirocco and letting run. I also have an 82 Scirocco, but it's Cosmos Silver with blue plaid interior. It also no longer has the original 1.7 8v , now has 2.0 liter 9A 16v from a 92 B3 Passat. Hopefully the only modifications you make to this Scirocco engine and suspension not a crazy body kit.
"It's a runner" ... Original 1975 model Scirocco style is preferred. Corrado has an updated original look. This Scirocco should be a good vehicle for someone. Your oven cleaner/engine bay cleaner, is a good inexpensive way to detail ... Not mechanically inclined, so appreciate someone with mechanical skills ... Side note : Original VW emblem looks better than the "updated" floating bottom style emblem ... Slainte' ! Cheers !
It's wonderful you are saving it. Keep going man!! Cheers from Mexico
Thanks buddy!! Will do!
Can't wait to see what's next
You can use that front bumper as a picnic table
🤣 isn’t that the truth.
Nice vid
Thanks appreciate it!!!
First time seeing someone using oven cleaner in an engine bay--I thought that stuff would strip paint! Looks like it worked fine though.
Works amazing! I’ve used it for years and never had any paint issues.
Nice car just subscribed hope he gave you a good deal on it. Seems quite solid will turn out quite nice!

Official comment, because I know comments help.
