Right before watching this interview I was watching the backstages videos during their last world tour where you see them acting and joking like hyperactive teens so the difference is quite jarring for me 😂. Seriously I had to check if there wasn’t like 10 years between the recordings seeing the maturity in this one because in the other they acted like 16 years old not 26-27 but then I realized I could see it during this interview when she is laughing or reacting. Of course as a K-pop artist she had to play a role to appear younger but you can’t hide everything and I really like what I see here. Mature and successful while still being the clown we can see during the tour ( clown isn’t the right work but I can’t find the right word).

People paid really like a grand to be up in the front and would hold creative signs and compare to western artists, they make sure they interact with many as they can. The clips goes viral. For them, even tho touring can be exhausting, they and their team bringing big chunk of money back. Its a win win so why not enjoy it.

Lisa didnt go through a heartbreak, if she went, she likely would keep releasing happy dance songs. Her style is these jam songs. Personally my dream too. What I was trying to explain is that when it’s the first interaction you have with them you wouldn’t think they are in their 20’s and even physically they look younger than they are…until you see models photos of them or see them in interviews like here. A lot of it is probably due to the amount of training they must have had while working for YG and it obviously works, pulling fans from all ages due to their versatility as both artists and person. They are actors, dancers, singer, models, talk multiple languages, are financially smart and manage to retain that down to earth character that so many stars seem to lose due to fame.

Honestly as a blink for 7 years, the rosie i knew when i first was getting into blackpink is SO different now compared to before. I can tell Rosé had pressured to be this “perfect” image of an idol, especially a YG idol in korea. So the fact she’s growing (not only her but all four of the members) not only as an artist but as a person and her emotions she’s able to express to people is just a good feeling to hear and see. I’m really glad there’s people by rosie’s side that supported and pushed her.

But after seeing how their solo (English) careers are going, I've gained massive respect for them. Rosie is a natural, charismatic star. I remember when BlackPink debuted and had their first live performance. Shortly later I saw the backstage clip when Rosé broke down crying from being emotional about their first performance. I remember on BlackPink House when all the girls made treats for their fans and were passing them out. Rosé was in front of the table, and the other girls were behind the table, passing out the bags. Several fans walked right past Rosé and there was a clear look of disappointment and hurt on Rosé's face. I remember when Rosé was doing promotion for -R-, and she took the time to hand write notes for her dancers and staff, and picked out flowers for each of them by herself. Rosé is the perfect girl! Not because she is beautiful (which she is!), not because she has the best voice (which she does!), but because she has the biggest heart.
Rosie is the only person who can make me listen to an-hour-long talk. I can listen to her all day and will never get bored. In addition to her talents and sweet voice, she’s also a really wise woman who is authentic and passionate about what she’s doing. A real beauty with brain!!! She inspires me a lot. I love herrrrr

This is crazy. Rosé was always the member that caught my attention the least. Tbh, I never really cared about her and her voice was never really my type. But now with these promotions, she's the most real, most herself out of the blackpink girls, I feel. Her artistry is shining through and I find myself drawn to her. Not to shade the other girls, but I do feel like they still don't have an identity of their own yet in music. In fashion, it's different. Lisa and Jennie are such icons, but in music, I don't get where they are going yet. Their songs have a performance purpose only, I feel. Rosé is a true musician. For Jisoo, I respect how she's more into acting recently than into music. It's very interesting to see how their paths are unfolding, and I wish Rosé the very best.

I remember when BlackPink debuted and had their first live performance. Shortly later I saw the backstage clip when Rosé broke down crying from being emotional about their first performance.
I remember on BlackPink House when all the girls made treats for their fans and were passing them out. Rosé was in front of the table, and the other girls were behind the table, passing out the bags. Several fans walked right past Rosé and there was a clear look of disappointment and hurt on Rosé's face.
I remember when Rosé was doing promotion for -R-, and she took the time to hand write notes for her dancers and staff, and picked out flowers for each of them by herself.
Rosé is the perfect girl! Not because she is beautiful (which she is!), not because she has the best voice (which she does!), but because she has the biggest heart.

This is crazy. Rosé was always the member that caught my attention the least. Tbh, I never really cared about her and her voice was never really my type. But now with these promotions, she's the most real, most herself out of the blackpink girls, I feel. Her artistry is shining through and I find myself drawn to her. Not to shade the other girls, but I do feel like they still don't have an identity of their own yet in music. In fashion, it's different. Lisa and Jennie are such icons, but in music, I don't get where they are going yet. Their songs have a performance purpose only, I feel. Rosé is a true musician. For Jisoo, I respect how she's more into acting recently than into music. It's very interesting to see how their paths are unfolding, and I wish Rosé the very best.

Look at how Rosé has shined since she ended her solo contract with YG! Same goes for Lisa and Jennie (and Jisoo has great things coming soon). Yg definitely made Blackpink shine as a group but never allowed them to have personal expression, it was the best decision they made to stay with YG as a group and continue their solo activities separately. You did a great job Rosé, I am proud of you as a blink 💕
