In my personal opion being a relavivally new ACTIVE PLAYER (Playing actively sence around september 2020) I was pro slamo and that was because I didn't know his story and my friends, other new players, had slamo shirts. Now I've try to educate my self on as much JToH stuff as possible and in my personal opinion he would of been good as a mascot or a shirt for advertising JToH, but this drama has made it way less popular and I think because of the drama slamo shouldn't be a mascot due to the drama surrounding him and it wouuld represent bad in the community, BUT I do NOT think he should be banned because slamo represents a big part of the games history which we need to value to make sure nothing like this happens again.

I’m pretty sure I’m like the only Curator+ person that likes it as I just think it’s a cute cube with a smiley face and I do think the stereotype is annoying but I don’t think it would need a removal. There’s other things similar to this like other fan game mascots, but they can have the exact same thing happen to them so it’s just how communities handle it in my eyes.

And also addition, banning it from the discord would be just as good as banning changed discussion. I remember getting warned about it when I wasn't aware of the rule because it was buried in the epic stuff channel, I was able to get the warn lifted, but I do not think that banning such a big part of the game, probably done incorrectly will help anything and probably will affect more innocent people then it would be fixing the actual problem.

Im kinda pro slamo since I wasn't really involved with the community until like ring 8 and from alot of people's pov slamo is just a cute mascot that appears in some towers. I think the drama is mostly gone and forgotton and it is just a cute character rn. I think people should just put the "dark era" in the past (*not* forget about it, just disasociate it with the current slamo) and keep slamo in the game, tho people shouldn't glorify slamo like putting it in pfps and people should watch this video to see the terrible past of slamo.
Just make it blue, and name it big cube, now it has no drama

I figured they probably made it for references. Because People like to make References of them. I also figured that slamo has a Phobia called “Porphyrophobia” and if you didn’t know, On Floor 6, you will see squished Slamo on top of a statue. This is most likely a reference to the tragic mechanic in Tower of Insult To Injury. Slamo is non-binary.
