One of the best video clips u ever made. Super smooth riding fun to watch. But also the drone pilot and filming was incredible. I fly a DJI Magic Pro myself and to me it looks like this was done with a drone where one is pilot and one does the camera. If that was only one guy doing everything he must have practiced a lot in order to have to balls to fly backwards.
Before I'd seen your comment my prevailing thought was that if I had his skills the bike wouldn't matter. That said, sign me up for a KTM Adventure and take my money!
Ho ly SHIT!!! That is next level, Michael Jordan, half court shot unbelievable right there. And nothing but net. What's it like to be the best in the world, one wonders?
I have been on that trail with a 350, its was fun/hard/slow on a 350, very impressive to see it done so smoothly on a 890 with the great drone view , Chris--keep the great vids coming!
I like watching this and trying to count how many times I'd just drop the bike... going slow, and trying to put a foot down on the "high-side" of the bike, lol. Awesome rider for sure!
Muy buen video. Que hermoso lugar. Muy buena senda. Magnifico piloto. Saludos
Can i ask what tire pressure you are running or are you simply using the centrifugal force to expand the tire enabling you to glide effortlessly across this treacherous terrain????.. oh & whats your go to snack while out on trails like this ???
This footage is nuts. Was this one of those Skydio's?! I couldn't believe it when it went under the rock, and that made me think it was a human pilot.. Then when it started flying backward I was like no way that's a human... Now I have no idea.
Funny. Just started watching, thought to myself, Damn, this guy is rather Birchesk...aka reminds me of. Chris Birch risding style....was thinking give this guy some good comments and make him feell awesome....then i read the title....yep, no wonder it resembled his style of riding...LOL.
We could do without the stupid song. Just the engine sound and watch the video. I was wanting to see if the bike can handle like a four fifty on a dirt bike track. But I have yet to find a video that shows how well the handling capabilities. Of this 890r compared to a 450sxf dirtbike
Congratulations! But! I can't stand all-terrain motorcycle videos that don't allow me to hear the sound of the engine, the rolling stones, logs, the scattering of the soil, the growl and crackle of the exhaust. Instead, I hear inappropriate music. Why? I do not understand. What's good about modern music without instruments, which isn't even music, if I can listen to the sounds of the tour instead? It's so cool... If you're a music addict, poor spy, then at best put it very quietly, but the sound of the engine should be loud, not the noise of the discotheque. It's a matter of taste, I know, I know..
I've watched this video like 50 times now and it is still awesome. Great music, footage, and of course your expert level riding Birchy. Great vid.
Thanks!
That drone perspective and that smooth riding make it look way too effortless. Like riding a bmx bike.😄💪
ESTE VIDEO TUYO ES BUENAZO Y MAS AUN LOS LUGARES Y COMO MANEJAS LA MOTOCICLETA, SIEMPRE SIGO TUS AVENTURAS, SALUDOS DESDE PERU
Balance, clutch and throttle control are out of this world! 👌
Definitely amazing, king regards from Barcelona!
It's incredible what you can do nowadays with drones. This footage is awesome.

I was scared at the 1:03 mark when you went backwards to the cliff edge. WHEW. What a ride (and I was only watching from TH-cam).
What a dangerous ride, respect!
The world is your play ground when you can ride like that. 👍

Quite an Off-Road Drone Pilot you've !!
sick ride! that skydio is getting some amazing shots!
It was good whilst it lasted!
@@ChrisBirchNZ Talking about the Skydio I assume Chris!!
What happened to it? To the drone I mean.
wow! just mind blowing. purpose built for that mountain terrain!
Wonderful video and track Chris
Amazing in many ways
Looks like such a sweet place to ride!

Amazing as always!
Birchuy,. Your skills are the goals I wanna set for myself. I ride a ktm 390 adv and it should be a lot easier to learn on than the 890, hopefully
Great trail and great rider!
Riding at a speed like a decent rider on a plastic but with so much more weight -
thanks Chris
Struth, having to duck under that scrubby tree must have been challenging Chris.
That looked like a blast ! Thanks for sharing
Ma che spettacolo! Ma dov’è questo posto irreale?
Complimenti anche quando indietreggi al limite del precipizio!😱
amazing drone camera work!
You're making me dizzy going in circles around him with that damn drone
Stupendo posto , moto e pilota sempre al top👍💯
First!! What a beautiful ride!
Definitely worth a post! Although I did miss your trademark eeeahhhhhh squeals when you almost mess up
Don't worry, more cowardly screams coming next time 😂
What an amazing playground!
Desde la vista del piloto debe verse también increíble, aunque estuviera preparado el vídeo , menudo pilotaje , enhorabuena al piloto .
That's a very clever drone I must say
Only god rides like this. Wow !
Life goals.
Enjoyed that.
Who were the music artist?
Thanks for the bad ass skills
what the name of your drone cool video !

Can't wait to see some 390 R footage!
I can't wait to ride one!
Hey chris. Where do u keep the drone Controller while riding?
Amazing! 💪🏽🏍💨
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Fortissimo 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Vorrei sapere che ride mode usi e che marce.
Grazie e buona strada

Amazing !!!!!!, what tires ypu use ? Mitas e12/13 ? In narrow wheels ? Thanks crack !!!
Yes E12/E13 this bike had the stock wheels.
@@ChrisBirchNZ many thanks chris !!!!
Nice, i bet that was Radek lazing in the shade at clip end, lol
Yeah, I wish we could have ridden together more!
Excellent. 👍
Great riding!
Awesome trail!...great skills Chris...as usual!, no bloopers?...hahaha.
No bloopers, one and done this time.
@@ChrisBirchNZ great!...no surprise at all!

Is this on the Sovereign Trail outside Moab?
I think so, I'm not really sure where we were!
Hmm, was that Radek’s drone?
Nicely done, I’d have a much harder time just walking through there.
Hi, the sprocket and the suspensions are original?
Greeting's
Suspension is the WP Pro component's, original gearing on this bike but I do prefer a 16 tooth front.
I got an 890 R and can do about 10 percent of that. I need to practice more
Es sencillamente alucinante
Sovereign trail.
damn that drone follow was amazing, is it skydio?
It was a skydio. Now it's dead 😂
@@ChrisBirchNZ machines never die
What Trail was this? Looks like it might be somewhere in the Sovereign Trail area? Yes, No...Maybe?
Yes that area
I was just going to ask about the drone! 😂 What are you replacing it with?
$400 in shipping later its fixed. I'll be more careful this time!
@@ChrisBirchNZ what are you using?
that drone is awesome how it tracked you! What happened to him? what model is it? thanks:)
It's a skydio. Its a great Drone but don't buy it if you don't live in America. I broke a tiny part and it's cost me $500 so far...
I had to check my diary for a second to see if that was me or Chris Birch 😮
In yer dreams bro 🤣
Hey mate, random question... Do you prefer a cable or hydraulic clutch on the 890?
I'm happy with the stock cable clutch.
Have you moved to the US? So many US vids recently. Moab is awesome, of course.
No, I can't convince my family! I'll be back next year for sure.
Did a man of your skill do many runs before this one? Such smooth riding and balance
I did cheat and do one sighting run.
@@ChrisBirchNZ 1 sighting is barely cheating! Good viewing angles from that drone 👍🏼
The question is did you have a Utah off-roading certificate? Yours skills are in doubt until you get one, the true merit of skill 😬
None of your business
Super human skills
Unreal... I have the same bike, don't even dare to say I ride it because I drop it upon touching the first marble.
You gotta get out there and give it a go!
As the owner of a KTM 790 Adventure, you have gobs of respect from me. Yikes, I just wouldn't do any of that.
😎🤘🏼
awesome
Iyalk prandhada😮
How to be you?
You ain’t gonna see no jeeps on that track.👍👍
👍👍👍👍🌟🌟😜🖐
He's good but I reckon that track was well scouted beforehand.
💪👍💪👍💪
Amazing!!. Please music Off. We want to hear this motorbike roar.

@@ChrisBirchNZ ups sorry 😃💪🏼💪🏼 and thxs!
On my 300XCW I might consider it. On my 690R…nope! 🤣
Comment = my race number
Surely this would be better and more fun on a 690
The drone pilot needs to calm down. Way too disorientating. Cool trail though!
