A Gott Giving the fan translation a chance was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I held out hoping for an official release for a while but sadly it doesn't look like that's going to happen, at least not for a long time. At the same time though, the fan translation was so well made and localized that if feels official anyway, an I'm so attached to their choices that an official version with different names and stuff would be hard to adjust to.

I've come to really appreciate that the last scene is an inversion of the climax of Dual Destinies. Phoenix and Apollo battled in court earlier, but this time to see that it will be as defender and prosecutor, with Wright on the offensive, is really an eye-opener.

Phoenix is probably paying Miles back for what he did in Trial &Tribulations. You know when Miles stepped in as the defence attorney because Phoenix had to be in the hospital because he had fallen into the river when the bridge collapsed because he tried to cross it while it was on fire. Yeah they are friends and Miles didn't seem like he was going to ask Phoenix to do something in return but I'm guessing Miles isn't able to stand in court for whatever reason and either he asks Phoenix to stand in for him and her. agrees because of being friends and because Miles did the same and he realizes that by agreeing he will be able to test Apollo or Phoenix asks miles if he can stand in as the prosecutor for the same reasons I said in the previous scenario.
No, Apollo was talking about another person, the main prosecutor in Japan(Or in English Terms, L.A.). Wright being at the Prosecutors Bench has nothing to do with the English Trailer.

Finally they got the animated camera footage back! I really liked that feature in the DS version of the first game. It was disappointing to see that they had camera footage in 5 but it was mostly still images.

So i think we can see how the cases of the game are going to be. the 1st case will be with phoenix, the 2nd with apollo and etc. Here are the topics of the cases SPOILERS IF U DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE STORY: 1ST CASE will be about the friend of maya, which we see in the prologue (this will be probably a 2 parts trial because the trials are getting bigger) murdering a friend, or his teacher for reasons i don't know why just seems like it. the prosecutor will be payne or his brother (for some reason, he has a crown, probably for "so many cases won in a row in so much litttle time") and we will have the introduction of rafya the oracle and the minigames. 2ND CASE will be about the murder of a magician with the suspect as Trucy. We will have the introduction of the new prosecutor and how he works. 3RD CASE i don't know much about. Probably a shopkeeper is murdered, maya is suspect because she was the last person the shopkeeper saw and he probably was stabbed from the back. 4TH CASE AND PROBABLY FINAL because i don't know much trial there are and there isn't much information for a next case. Allwe know is that Phoenix is against Apollo (comments say evidence, i say bs because of evidence, phoenix won't "become" a prosecutor. Probably Nayuta or Rafya are murdered and one of them is the killer or the suspect. Reasons unknown. IF anything is incorrect or u have new information tell me in the comments
The clothing looks Korean. And Kurain sounds like 'Korean.' The clothing looks like Thailand. A country undergoing revolution, with a rigged court system sounds like China or Vietnam. The prosecutor dresses like a Hindu from India. This is quite a setting.
Well, a few things I noticed 1. It seems that one of the unknown cases involves a dragon, and what I'm assuming is a lighthouse looking for it. I don't see either one fitting into any other case shown. 2. Will Durk be the main villain? He seems to be the head of the evil revolution thingy, but since he's a DA and apparently supports Nick, I'm not sure what his role will be. 3. What's Edgeworth's role? I doubt he'd make it onto the main art if he was just in an optional DLC case.
Alright, I know some people are freaking out over the "Phoenix Wright PROSECUTING" (In ALL CAPS to prove how important it is), but am I the only one who sees this as a possible parallel to Miles Edgeworth? And with the references to Trials and Tribulations here, where we temporarily play as Edgeworth (During Bridge to the Turnabout), who is defending in Phoenix's place... From what I've been able to translate the battle between Phoenix and Apollo is a Civil Case, not a murder case, so Prosecutors wouldn't be used.

Not quite Edgeworth, from what I could translate that last scene is a Civil Case, not a Murder Case. Prosecutors wouldn't be used in that case.

Yeah they are friends and Miles didn't seem like he was going to ask Phoenix to do something in return but I'm guessing Miles isn't able to stand in court for whatever reason and either he asks Phoenix to stand in for him and her. agrees because of being friends and because Miles did the same and he realizes that by agreeing he will be able to test Apollo or Phoenix asks miles if he can stand in as the prosecutor for the same reasons I said in the previous scenario.

Finally they got the animated camera footage back! I really liked that feature in the DS version of the first game. It was disappointing to see that they had camera footage in 5 but it was mostly still images.
In case people didnt notice it yet, Phoenix did stand in the prosecutor bench, but not wearing a prosecutor badge, so we can presume this is a special exception, like attorney can even prosecute the trial

So i think we can see how the cases of the game are going to be. the 1st case will be with phoenix, the 2nd with apollo and etc. Here are the topics of the cases SPOILERS IF U DON'T WANT TO KNOW THE STORY: 1ST CASE will be about the friend of maya, which we see in the prologue (this will be probably a 2 parts trial because the trials are getting bigger) murdering a friend, or his teacher for reasons i don't know why just seems like it. the prosecutor will be payne or his brother (for some reason, he has a crown, probably for "so many cases won in a row in so much litttle time") and we will have the introduction of rafya the oracle and the minigames. 2ND CASE will be about the murder of a magician with the suspect as Trucy. We will have the introduction of the new prosecutor and how he works. 3RD CASE i don't know much about. Probably a shopkeeper is murdered, maya is suspect because she was the last person the shopkeeper saw and he probably was stabbed from the back. 4TH CASE AND PROBABLY FINAL because i don't know much trial there are and there isn't much information for a next case. Allwe know is that Phoenix is against Apollo (comments say evidence, i say bs because of evidence, phoenix won't "become" a prosecutor. Probably Nayuta or Rafya are murdered and one of them is the killer or the suspect. Reasons unknown.

At this point, Maya must have responsible for at least one murder, she gets accused every single game.
Well, a few things I noticed
1. It seems that one of the unknown cases involves a dragon, and what I'm assuming is a lighthouse looking for it. I don't see either one fitting into any other case shown.
2. Will Durk be the main villain? He seems to be the head of the evil revolution thingy, but since he's a DA and apparently supports Nick, I'm not sure what his role will be.
3. What's Edgeworth's role? I doubt he'd make it onto the main art if he was just in an optional DLC case.
Edgeworth is just probably there for the fans...and something with I think Case 5? Something to do with helping to investigate, IIRC.

Alright, I know some people are freaking out over the "Phoenix Wright PROSECUTING" (In ALL CAPS to prove how important it is), but am I the only one who sees this as a possible parallel to Miles Edgeworth? And with the references to Trials and Tribulations here, where we temporarily play as Edgeworth (During Bridge to the Turnabout), who is defending in Phoenix's place... Then could it be there's pulling that move again?
