Definitely a fair take. But the problem with PSA, is if everyone thinks their the gold standard, they'll never crash, and their inconsistencies in grading will continue. We need some competition. I get it though. If you're looking to sell PSA is the safe bet to get the most value. But for me, I'm not really reselling that much, most of what I grade is for PC, so i appreciate TAG's clear slab, the grading report that tells you what's wrong with your cards and the more consistent grading. The customer service is also great. I should note, TAG can get PSA comps, but definitely not as quick or as liquid. Hopefully they gain more traction. I get PSA's chokehold, but I'll contribute to making more competition for PSA. Not sure if you've looked at any of their grading reports, but you can see the grading report for every card they've graded without needing the cert number.
I like TAG cause its cheap and fast as someone who likes to slab cards for my collection that I don't intend on selling. I see it that I can always get it transferred over to a PSA grade if I want to sell it.
Read more into the score it also gives what would essentially be grader notes that PSA charges more for. It’s also ai grading so theoretically it’s more consistent than the others
I recently began collecting baseball cards. I started by buying into card breaks and I've had some luck. Couple cards worth over 1k and a bunch worth between $50-$300. Dozens that are probably only worth $1-$10. But its fun. I want to protect them all in slab but unfortunately thats probably not happening in my near future because I still dont even own a home. I like TAG. I dont like PSA and the number of videos i see people sending in cards 2, 3 times until they receive a PSA 10. Doesn't seem right. I do like Beckett a lot. I will be sending in my more valuable cards to Beckett in hopes for a Beckett pristine 10 and I will be sending in about a dozen or more to TAG because I think they'll look great in my collection. If everyone would send a few cards into TAG we can all help them become known which in return would add value to their slabs/grading reputation. Which means some extra cash value to your collection.. great video. One of the better more tolerable ones i have seen.
I respect PSA for retail value for sure. But nobody trusts their grades for good reason. I want to know WHY my card received a certain grade. TAG might make it if they eliminate that RIDICULOUS $15 upcharge for the 1000 point score system. That could easily be incorporated into the basic X level package 🤷♂️
I’ve graded with TAG. Easy quick process and best slab in the game. This hobby is about flipping either asap or a couple years from now so like you said their lack of a high resell value will end them. I like to look for TAG 9’s that sellers get desperate and auction to crack and resubmit to PSA. There is so much transparency on each TAG card that you can determine if it will 10 with PSA.
@@Cardlines I can’t wait. I told them they should stop slabbing and offer an AI pre screen for PSA and then they would have star stock 2.0 ability to compete. He didn’t like that suggestion. I think Star stock failed with their A B C grading and never were able to fully leverage psa grading.

Tag is still new. It will overtake beckett as the gold standard in value grading over the next 10 years

Theas guys have by far the best looking slabs in the hobby to bad there is no big value with them
@@72jmunoz agreed that they look awesome!
Every two months someone posts TAG grading will be the future - rinse, repeat.
Clearly didn't watch until the end
Good review. Tag will be part of psa or someone if they become valued.
Your too nice on arena club. They are a repacker. Period. 😂
@@CommercialFreeShow I have 2 longer Arena Club videos coming soon. Stay tuned for the deep dive, investigative piece. 😂
