Okay Spartan, you've entered some treacherous territory with the Vladi. She's my baby from the start of legends and my go to ship when i am dealing with a losing streak. She delivered me 3 krakens within 24 hours this week. With the right build she can compete with all of its peers. My support for you is either gonna increase or collapse based on this video lol. Now roll the clip
There were two schools of though on big guns and ballistics. Light shells at high velocity. Heavy shells at moderate velocity. The Russians went (mostly) with the former because of where they would be fighting and who their opponents might be. This was based on the assumption of Baltic or Black Sea engagements where visibility was going to be poor and ranges fairly close which benefits from the increased penetration at short to medium ranges you get with lighter shells at higher velocities. Or you could try to have both like with the 14"/52 gun with 1600lbs shells at 2800fps. However, like the Italian 15"/50 gun, there were all sorts of problems with dispersion and barrel life. The Russian 16" gun was very similar to the USN Mk2 and Mk3 16" guns: standard weight shells at slightly higher than normal velocities. None of these guns actually found themselves at sea. The Mk2 and Mk3 guns ended up in shore defenses and the USN went down the super-heavy shell rabbit hole in subsequent gun development.
On aiming, I almost think there is also something wonky in the game with tracking as a ship turns and pulls away. Sometimes the game seems to pull your shells in the direction he was going, not where you were aiming. Seems to be a issue with shooting at destroyers and faster, nimble cruiers but I've even had it happen on battlsehips. You can really see if you shoot and target beaches.
Nice one! Really looking forward to other ships. Keep the wheel spinning ❤ (Next time cruisers and destroyers will damage enemies under your control?😊)
Despite my name. I don’t play very much German bbs. I play Italian bbs and other super cruisers. But it’s very fun to call the Bismarck bad because you always get a reaction. Despite this Bismarck is good. I would choose every super cruiser over Bismarck 7 days of the week, especially Ägir.
Spartan, how did you not get that dev strike on the Hawke?? You citadel'd him 4 times and he was at basically full health, but no dev strike metal? WG ripping you off lol.
One of these days I need to unlock this ship. I'm like 90% there I just need to finish the grind on sinop, I just didn't care to much for her the way I did lower tier russan bbs.
Nice video. This and sovesty soyuz is the only current Russian ship I will play once I grind for them. May you please do a video on the teir 8 Russian tech tree battleship
@@zackbritt7967 well G it's probably because you ain't playing it right, Because I Brawl, it's meant to get up in the Frontline. You probably just sit back and snipe
As a Russian BB main, I respect everything said and done here with my T7 Baby, I hope we can agree as two BB mains that the Russians will always be good and relevant to the hardcore players. We both know how hard Russian BBs can be for the casuals to use.
Vladivostok is one of my favorite Tier 7 tech tree ships. For me, I use Mikhail Kedrov as my main commander. Lev Galler, while it can be used, it doesn’t work with Vladivostok.
My most favorite ship in the game and she is consistent for me😃 🤓👆Also there is no chance to finish a game with this ship under 50k damage and if you do I can briefly say that this is not your ship
Hey Spartan, watching your videos I see that you miss a lot of shots at close range, it's not always the dispersion, this ''zoom in'' (the second one) is totally unnecessary to shoot at a destroyer at close range, I recommend that you only use the first zoom and make a small adjust and fire, at this distance the bullet doesn't travel long enough, add a lot of lead when you zoom in make your aim ''loose grip'' like you sayed in the vid feel buggy coz you not even aimming at the enemy ship (to far foward or way above) .
Vladivostok....is it good in 2024? Yes it is this thing as long as your within 12 kilometers you’ll get a buff in accuracy it will muller people you just have to manage your DC’s well cause they’re limited
they should buff the damage repair for the russians. give us at least 5 base. fire spamming is a real problem and carriers are uncontrolled unlesss you have a max AA rating. im hopng the we get a new russian BB commander as well the 2 we have now really are lack lusting as the 2 american BB commanders (free only)
Russains aint bad they just get targeted by he spams and carriers like hell when there spotted if you can flank and not be spotted in the beginning of the game then it tanks
I've been able to mostly agree with SpartanElite43 regarding this series...but to even showcase the Vladivostok in public, on purpose...is a shameful travesty because the 'Stok has been out of stock regarding its quality and value in my opinion. Prove it you say? Will do. It'll be my pleasure and it shall be done without one ounce of hyperbole. First of all let's begin with the name of the ship "Vladivostok" which is an awful name, clearly the creators at Wargaming are insanely jealous of THE Vlad from Transylvania...so this is what they do instead, not to mention the name has too many V's. I don't like that. When you insert more than one V in a name.....you're up to something. Awful armor scheme.....I witnessed an angry chihuahua fire a plunger dart at this ship's citadel, blowing it to the moon. The person commanding the Vladivostok on that particular day was none other than SpartanElite43. Smokey the Bear would be appalled, absolutely appalled that a Lightning Bug can set this ship into a floating version of the 1871 Chicago Fire. The main guns have all the real danger of a Nickelodeon slime machine....ya might as well be firing confetti at an enemy ship hoping it'll clog the turrets and blind the shooter. The AA on this ship couldn't shoot down a peacock. The secondaries?....well if you're a fan of Roman candles .... Insufficient speed....a '71 Ford Pinto minus 4 tires with Spartan pushing in a blizzard, is faster than this drifting glacier. At this point you'd be better off playing the Edmund Fitzgerald but i digress. And that concludes today's editorial. 😜
I'm enjoying this new series. Great content as always 😊
Glad to hear it!

49.3k spartan you almost got it keep goong man we love you and you content!! Great intro by the way i love it!!! I will see you in the next video😊
So close!
The velocity of Russian shells is superb! It’s like a tornado throwing a toothpick..…
😄

We're the overpen gods of the game lol and there is currently an overpen pandemic going on right now 😂
Man now I need to get the Vlady it seems pretty fun!
It can be
Keep it up! Great vibes man, you’re entertaining, knowledgeable, and great to watch!
Awesome video plus thanks for the great guidance of the ship , keep up the great content bro ❤
Glad you enjoyed!
Vlad the Impaler gets a good match

Thanks SPARTAN!!!! Been waiting for this one. Lol
Hope you enjoyed it!
I’m loving these vids.
Do u do these with strictly TT ships or Premiums aswel?
I may do this with premium ships as well but for now its just the tech tree
I plan on grinding through the Vladivostok first time player playing it from tomorrow
Nice one! Really looking forward to other ships. Keep the wheel spinning ❤

Great game I run a tank build and still slap the reds around again great video spartan 😎

Maybe we will see
I worked my arse off to get that ship back in the day nice job spartan

If me for bismarck full dispersion built is worth it: one time ago I dev struck a chapayev with only the 2 back turrets at 14km
This ship refuses to die. Good armor, no superstructure to farm. You need to respect her
She just suffers from having the flattest nose in the game lol so those guns tend to come and go

Enjoying the tier 7 beasts
I do love how if you're smart and play the Russian BB's with even an inkling of awareness, you can tie up a whole flank.
Still my favorite tier 7
I really enjoy this ship
It deserves a turret armor buff and maybe a decrease of chances to catch on Fire from ships
The turrets on this thing are already strong enough
@@zackbritt7967 not exactly. Every time I play it I get my turrets Knocked out. Richelieu did it, Kronstadt etc

Not sure maybe game bugged out

The Russian BBs are very great Battleships to go for but fire spamers suck a lot for them.

Just gonna ignore the fact that it didn’t give you the dev strike on the Hawke
Haha I got robbed! At least we all know now
@@SpartanElite43 probably counted as 2 salvos since you ripple fired tbh
Spartan which ship is better the iowa, vladi or the amagi?
Iowa
@@SpartanElite43 I was leaning more towards the Iowa cheers
you should do a video of like "is the Pensacola any good in 2024" and it's just a montage of getting dev struck. or any Japanese cruiser lol
😄
Hi🎉! Lenin or jean bart??? 😅
Hi i may continue this series with Premiums once we finish the tech trees
What happend? Video is in 240p max resulution
Give it a few minutes and check it again. When I first upload a video youtube has to process the video so it shows as lower resolution
