As a Hungarian, I watched this video with a delight. It was interesting how a foreigner reacts to our cities and food. If you don't mind, I would show your video to my students. (I teach at a vocational school for catering and tourism)
I was born and raised in Eger, I currently live in Budapest but this video made me realize just how beautiful my hometown is🥺it really is eye opening to see how others view my city, I’m so glad you enjoyed your time there!🫶🏻
The confusing building in Eger is the Líceum, it is one of the buildings of the Károly Eszterházy University, i studied there. It was amazing, it has a beautiful library too. It was so great to see you enjoy your trip! 😊
I am Hungarian and it is a pleasure to watch someone visit this wonderful country with joy. I am glad that you came to us after a long journey! I hope you had a great time! ❤
Probably one of my favorite videos on your channel!😍😍😍 I love Hungary and might I add, you EDITING on this video is AMAZING!!🔥👏🏻🤍 So happy for you and "Huffy"😘🙌🏻🤍
I visited Budapest last year with my fiance and it was beautiful. It's an incredible city (I visited cat cafe too, awww) Thank you for make me think about all the good memories from last year And congratulation for all!
This was my favorite of all you videos. Huffy did a great job filming. The scenery is beautiful. The food looks yummy such huge portions. I loved the cat Cafe.
I know it’s going to be a good day when one of your videos pop up. You have such a calming, positive vibe and always have me starting the week out on a good note!
❤❤❤ this was such a wonderful treat for this Sunday morning. Born in Hungary and spending most of the first 27 years of my life in Eger you basically brought me back home for the past hour. I’ve been living in the Boston area for almost 23 years, and while we visited Hungary almost every year since I lived here, the past 4 years we didn’t get to go, and I miss it so much. So, thank you so much for this post! ❤️ I’m glad you had so much fun there, you certainly tried some of the best foods, and went to my forever favorite place “Palacsintavár”, too! I love how you try to read and try to pronounce everything in Hungarian! ❤ It’s certainly not an easy language… Oh, and the Trabant! 😂 didn’t even know you can now rent want to try it. 😂Those east german cars were very much part of my childhood. Most people didn’t own a car and even having a trabant was considered very special. We never owned one but some of my relatives did. It was so stinky and I got car sick every single time I was taken for a ride in one. 🤣🤣🤣🤢 Congratulations to you and your huffy! ❤ Hope you two have many happy travels together all over the world! 😊
This is soooo cute, glad you had so much fun Travelling is truly one of the best things in life The things one discovers and gets to explore, especially alongside those ppl we love You just made me even more excited to finish editing all my travelling vlogs (I have too many line up, and sadly the day has only 24 hours I wish I could edit non stop 😏)
this was an amazing vlog! imo, i think the fancy mcdonalds was the higlight lmao 😂 what a lovely country and the food looks so delicious!! 🎉 ps: i just love how youre so candid about staying/being in a budget it just makes me feel, as a viewer, like even tho youre an influencer with a day job, you are still conscious and mindful about your expenses and i think thats so lovely and super relatable. loving the vlogs, jaime! ❤
I loved your vlog! About the Minaret I know what you meant by being claustrophobic and scary! When we went there was "crosstrafic". I was horrified when we had to let others pass us going the other direction! Also to think about how the Müezzin went up there 5 times a day to call for prayer! They had to be fit as hell! 😅
@@Mayxbasic lol fair enough! i guess it can be eaten in many ways tho - my husband is hungarian and eats it this way. we also just didn't want to get our fingers sticky.
Thank you for your beautiful video. I was however surprised at how cold your huffy was towards you. If you guys aren’t already married, please take your time to get to know him better before getting married. I know it’s none of my business, but I’m speaking from experience. May God bless your heart.
This is SUCH a weird comment to leave. You were right when you said it's none of your business - so I'm not sure why you decided to go against your instinct. My husband (huffy) and I have a very loving relationship. Please refrain from judging someone's life after watching a 10 second clip of interaction, and from giving unsolicited advice to strangers you do not know. Especially on a video of their honeymoon trip (:

Looks so fun ❤you don’t need a car to get around? Is the public transportation pretty easy/is there a lot of walking? Also do many people speak English?
every time i've been in budapest, i've only walked/used public transit - it's pretty easy to get around in the city! even going out of the city, we were able to take a train to where we needed to go and then walk around once we were there. lots of english downtown budapest since it's a huge tourist destination now... definitely less the further out we went but i luckily had huffy who speaks hungarian to help us get around when we left the city :)

i packed minimally as i only wanted to stick with carry-on :) had to limit shoe options.
Gundel cafe??? 😱 you must have paid a great fortune for thet meal...
Honestly, compared to prices in Canada - I found it to be super cheap for fine dining!

It's good if you're just a tourist there, but politically it's a shitty place. So I suggest you to not live there, just visit the country.
