wtffff he really said there weren't any good songs on silent alarm. i don't know how he could say that, or anyone for that matter. i can understand being an artist and being hypercritical of your own output, but that seems harsh. classic album in my opinion.
He was probably just sick of Silent Alarm. Their 2nd and 3rd albums kept getting compared to it by a bunch of critics and he probably felt frustration from it
gross reporter, asking him to comment on what kele said out of context. creating and looking for drama and rifts

He looks coked out
maybe just a perfectionist, perhaps overplaying (remember they toured it for 2 whole years), doubt he means it literally

it's hard for a lot of artists to enjoy what they made in the way that a listener or fan would.
@@tae-yunlee7658 that's fair, i'm pretty critical of my own music so i can get that for sure
What an odd reporter, you can tell Matt is doing his best to be polite but the questions and the constant prodding for more..?
I just want him to come and say he f'n hates the second album and be honest. IT was rubbish.
A weekend in the city has some pretty strong material on it. It's just not a genre defining, zeitgeist staple like Silent Alarm.
It's not an overproduced mess like Intimacy, at least it does sound clean
