My gosh I miss this Bloc Party so much. Even when the new line-up plays the older songs, they don't have that same raw intensity that they did in this video.
Russell Lissack is a LEGEND!!!!!!! also love the wayyy he uses his effects, love it soo much i have brough all that into my guitar playing and my band Russell Lissack is an idol and Bloc Party are my favourite ever band love em so much and never get tired of em, love the song and love the way they take a different version of the song out on tour ( with the guitar replacing the Ohhhhhh's at the begining) LOVE IT !!!!
Good lord this is a good performance. I wish I hadn't been a Bloc fan before seeing this cause I would've gone out and bought this album right away after watching that. Russell kills that solo too. So good
eagerly awaiting their fourth performance on david letterman..... i don't see why not since their fourth album just came out titled four (many puns in this comment)
@Comed3y dude i can't find the name of the song but theres one song that starts off with almost the exact same notes as radioheads song wakey wakey rise and shine its on again off again... I could sing the words over the intro and everyone in the car I was in was like shit, that fit
@TheHennProductions I did hear of that. Have you listened to some of his solo work? I remember hearing one song but I can't remember it for the life of me. You have any suggestions?
I wonder why they chose this song for Letterman. Hunting for Witches or Song for Clay were much more socially relevant and just generally better music.
KingPinniped no way man this is a real life song bout having best intentions early in the night this time I won’t screw up but as me and countless others did those days was drop to much mdma and acid and just been in our own horror show not talking to anyone and trying not to make eye contact! Those were the days indeed

They now suck harder than Kele at a monkeypox super spreader event
Russell's replacement of the "Ohhh's" in the begining and middle of the song are ace. That's why I perfer this song live.
Such a perfect song, i'm 2021 and i'm in love

Agreed heartily.
Russell reminds me of jonny greenwood so much :)
Wow, all their songs would fit perfectly in an SSX game
Matt's a fucking BEAST. Also, I didn't know they did this on Letterman either...
