Hopefully, someday Waluigi will have his own spot in a game, like Luigi in Luigi's mansion or Peach in Super Princess Peach, Wario in the Warioware games.
Maybe you can play as Waluigi and save the Mario Bros. from Bowser. That would be pretty cool. It would show that despite being short tempered and full of hate for the Mario Bros., he still has a heart.

I can really relate to Waluigi, here are the reasons
1:I grew up with almost no friends
2:Everytime I do something wrong, I am always labeled as the bad guy
3:I never really fit in

So most characters have had a overwhelming success arc that makes them the person they are today. Mario has saved just about all the kingdoms and even the universe a few times. Luigi (somehow) was able to save places unknown and actually get rewarded for it. Wario became filthy rich off of the Warioware brand and (let's be honest here...) stealing loads of treasure from pirates, aliens, and royal treasuries.
Waluigi seriously needs something to make him famous / awesome to the people if that is his goal. How he would do that, I don't know. Maybe he could be in some rhythm games or so. He's apparently an amazing dancer, why not go off that idea?

Wario wins a vacation for one to Emerald Islands so now it's Waluigi Time in new microgames that utilize the GamePad mechanic. The thing is is that Waluigi has gotten spotlight before, as the villain in DDR Mario version. I really like Waluigi, I play as him the first chance I get, but Nintendo has to give him a series to himself. Mario is of course the main character of the Mario series, Luigi is the star of the Mansion games and New Super Luigi U, Wario has a couple of Wario Land games and the WarioWare Series.
Waluigi is a very underrated character, just about all of the main characters- Mario, Luigi, Wario, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Rosalina, and even Toad- have had their own games focused on them. I mean come on Nintendo, Waluigi has a big fan base, make our dreams come true and make a Waluigi game. And not a stupid puzzle game or rhythm game, make like a platformer or RPG or something awesome.

It seemed like this was just a funny little factual thing about Waluigi, but towards the ending, especially with that background music, it made me cry. I never realized just how heavily neglected Waluigi was until now and I think I am going to main him for a while on Brawl now that he is finally released.
He deserves the love that the fans give him, as nobody else at Nintendo, right down to their own creations, fail to do the same. He is no longer the sign of self-pity, but of a character that started from the bottom and has come such a long way to the point where actual riots broke out at his exclusion from Mario Kart 7.
I hope one day that he is finally given the recognition he deserves. And a this rate, his game might have to be rated T.

Sakurai really seems to not be a fan of Waluigi though. I've kinda given up on Waluigi being in smash at this point.
I still want it, but, he's already an assist trophy, it's too late now. Plus, this might be the final game in the series. We probably won't get another one until a new console, and God knows that's not happening soon.

Mat Pat does present some good theories but the problem with him is a lot of times he demands attention and even sometimes demands that people believe his theories.
Take his Rosalina video for example, he literally at 1 point says "If you still don't believe me than man you have some serious trust issues" and then at the end he asks people to subscribe and then says that if we do not want to subscribe then we have way too high of standards.
And don't even get me started on his Mario is Mental theory, that 1 had more holes in it than a huge block of cheese and yet he still claims that they are "100% legit".
Connor's theories on the other hand are a lot more sensitive, they aren't forced onto you, and they even come off as very sensitive and even heart warming, this is something you rarely get on Game Theory.
I'm not saying you cannot prefer Game Theory over Connor the Waffle, believe me if you prefer Game Theory then by all means go watch them but to say MC Gemstone is a bigot while defending Game Theory is, to be blunt, a huge contradiction.

The example I gave about him saying people have too high of standards actually came AFTER he said it was only a theory.
He says "it's only a theory" at the end of every video but then contradicts that exact line within his own videos.

Send this to Sakurai to show that Waluigi may not be important but that's what makes him special. Why does every Smash character need to be important anyway. Like Daisy wasn't very important but she got in so Waluigi deserves just once to be the center of attention.
I actually almost cried at the end. Waluigi's life story is almost similar to my own. I always liked him as a character, but now I appreciate him even more.

3:40 I feel bad for Waluigi. He doesn’t get as much love as he wanted. I don’t think he is the one with the problem, it’s the WORLD that seems to have a problem with HIM. People take one look at him and go... “Aaaah! Help! Run! A purple, stupid, ugly Waluigi!” They judge him before they even know him. That’s why he’s had a hard life. Yeah, I never understood the hate/indifference for him (especially from Nintendo), probably because I never played as many Mario sports games. Also, many people have different interpretations of the character; I'm more familiar with the one from the old fan series "Stupid Mario Bros." The creator cared enough to develop Waluigi's character a bit, he was quite badass, level-headed and arguably the smartest one of the four Italian guys. It wasn't about Mario and Luigi all the time :)
I also enjoyed reading the fan comics "Waluigiland" and "Detective Waluigi." Again, the creators were awesome in taking the time to go into his backstory being of rejected and surviving a rough childhood, but also expounding on his capabilities of being something other than just the occasional, annoying sometimes bad guy that likes to give the Mario Bros a hard time 😄
Then there's the hilarious versions from "Animebromii," "SuperMarioRichie," "SMG4" and "Joschurale." I haven't gotten much into the other fan portrayals, but I'm sure there's a different version for each Waluigi fan.
Hopefully there'll be something in the future for the quirky purple guy, still holding out for Nintendo to come through!

This is just theory but maybe the real reason Waluigi hates Luigi is because he sees himself in Luigi both tend not be noticed by people and get the short end of the stick making them similar in a good bit of ways. Yet Luigi stills sees hope while Waluigi does not and the fact is that Luigi was able to get Daisy (even tho might be sloppy seconds) is that what really puts the nail in the coffin since there similar and he still got the girl. From Luigi's perspective tho he has only got hurt but Waluigi and only meet with hate so he has no idea how Waluigi really is. So in the end if they were ever to talk to each other and get to know one another we might see one of the best friendships ever to come out of gaming but I highly doubt that Nintendo would ever do that and make a game around it. (I think it would make a nice RPG that shows them slowly becoming friends and at the end a new duo is born, if my theory is right tho)

I wanna give him a hug! I recall back when Nintendo Power still published their magazines, the first one I bought had a reader's letter in it wondering why Waluigi and Wario didn't have any dates of their own. It... actually bothered me.... in the sense that it made me feel bad for them, of course. So I designed my own dates for them.... And crafted an idea for a game about how they meet and all that... I particularly felt bad for Waluigi so I designed his date first and named her Rose (long before I knew Rosalina was a character). Looking back at it, I'm pretty sure I modeled her after me. Right down to clothing choice and general attitude at the time..... What? He's my favorite character of the Mario franchise. :)

Waluigi is super underrated, and I loved him ever since his debut. He's literally my second favorite character (Peach will forever be my first :3) and he deserves WAY more love than he has... Which isn't very much. Waluigi has so much potential and could have an amazing storyline if we just give him a chance! For God's sake, DAISY gets more attention than the poor guy! I'm often criticized for liking him and people say he doesn't deserve to be liked because he's, and I quote, "ugly". T_T I'm not even kidding... The point is: Waluigi is an amazing person who could amount to amazing things if Nintendo just gives the guy a chance! I want a Waluigi game, NOW!! :D
