Thanks for covering Dengue and Zika topic. That's a wonderful discovery. Argentina has this problem (dengue) right now and will continue to have it.

Forty years ago in aviation circles, 'FBL' (Fly-By-Light: optic fibre's) was talked about as "way into the future", while 'FBW' (Fly-By-Wire) became the technology that was kicked off in the 1980's. It was soon found that FBW, was potentially susceptible to electrical interference from outside sources and even EMP.
At the micro-level the Taichi 'Photonic Chip', sounds like the necessary move toward replacing traditional 'wired' and semi-conductor electronics.

Several Months ago, Chinese computer experts stated current chip tech is LEGACY, outdated and it's time to move on to the next generation; part of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Traditional computer chips use lots of energy, and AI applications place significant strain on a country, city power grid.
In the U.S. the power grid infrastructure IS NOT robust enough to support AI development and operations in many areas thereby placing a significant roadblock to AI development and deployment.
It will take a huge investment in upgrading power grids even BEFORE large AI operations are implemented.
Photonic chips energy efficiency allows ultra, high speed AI development and integration into networked infrastructures without placing significant strain on the country's or a city's power grid.
