    We've had plenty of these in the workshop and had fun playing every single one of them!

    That was a hell of a showcase, Wan! I should get the amp by the end of the week, and now I'm even more excited.
    The amp turned out exactly how I dreamed it would, guys. It started out as an amp that could do Eric Gales-type clean tones, and it doesn't disappoint there. Also, Carlos Santana OD. Your Santana licks can't be a coincidence Wan lol.
    Thanks, Nik!
    Putting up with all my questions and wants to make this happen was a lot of work. I'm looking forward to doing business with you again in the future.

      Say, specifically what tubes did you go with? Brand & model if it's not too much trouble.

      @@GCKelloch They're JJ tubes.

      @@ceriatoneAmp Thanks, Nik? I was wondering if Brian could give some more detail, though.
      Can't say which is more reliable, but Thoman sells a TAD RT822 KT66 Duett for $81+ you might try next tube change. They are a bit more "lively" than the JJ KT66.
      All JJ ecc83S preamp tubes also makes for a more hard/crunchy sound than with some other affordable options. The ecc83MG is a bit smoother and more open. The Milspec EHx 7025EH is a sweet sounding 12ax7 variant worth trying.

      @GCKelloch I actually bought a pair of Gold Lions to test. These JJ's have exceeded my expectations, though. Also, I've heard great things about the TAD tubes as well.

    This monster amp sounds fabulous!! Wish I could have one but unfortunately it’s not practical for bedroom players lol. So, OTS mini it is, for me.
    Btw, is the upcoming Delight Verb gonna be 20W range?

    • @ceriatoneAmp
      @ceriatoneAmp  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      All you need is to get a bigger bedroom? :) The DV is indeed about 20W.

      Invest in good attenuator (such as the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X) if you want to be able to use these amps for bedroom/home usage. Good ones are expensive (the one I mentioned is $600), but they are essential if you have high wattage/very loud tube amps.

    I like it with the LNFB down (off?) and with the tube rec. Sounds a bit hard/cold otherwise. Could partially be the guitar. Stainless frets? Say, what's the body wood? Nice cherry burst finish. BTW, "Global" GNFB is the one for the amp section. I prefer that off as well. My understanding is that KT66 tubes stay tighter than 6L6GC without any GNFB. It sounds fatter off, but still pretty tight.
    Tube choices make some difference. JJ KT66 are crunchier than the Gold Lion KT66-- more like a KT88.

    • @ceriatoneAmp
      @ceriatoneAmp  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think SS frets indeed. Not sure of the specs, it's Wan's new guitar, hot off the press. As for GNFB, it alters the NFB resistor value, so it's not exactly turning it off.

      @@zapuwan Ah, the top does look like a type of Koa. Very nice.
