As much as I hate Bush, its pretty fucked up to make fun of him for stuttering.
I stutter and can't really control it. Its not fun to be made fun of because of that.
He's actually a better speaker then people give him credit. He grew up in the North East so the whole Texan accent is pretty much faked. But yeah, stutters dont have too much to do with intelligence, sometimes it can either caused by ADD, a speak impediment, or with some people it can be because they have problems finding the right words. I have an IQ of 118 and a great vocabulary and I sometimes stutter or get words mixed up and sometimes slur my speech (mainly due to a neurological condition).

• Don't read the corroborating reports &
• Ignore witness testimony,

Coincidences do happen,for sure, but how likely is it that:

AND
• When relaying their encounter, saying "you gotta SEE this guy", that he wasn't mimicking him
AND

Ironically, Gerald Ford was probably the most athletic president in the postwar era. He played Center for Michigan, a top college football program. He was drafted by the Lions, but decided to go to Law school instead.
It was actually Nixon who was clumsy and had trouble operating machines (such as tape recorders). He looked terrible at the first debate with Kennedy in 1960 because he had accidentally banged his knee into a car door, which resulted in an infection, and a stay in the hospital. And he managed to hit his knee AGAIN, though without further serious damage.
