Because how stupid broken Kazuya is. He is cheese, can kill you with one interaction. Kazuya is not hard to learn and play. Has invencibility and priority frame in all his kit, is super heavy, has a comeback mechanic, frame 1 auto turn. Cant use projectiles againsy him bevause he kills you in one hit meanwhile other characters beeda to put work in what they do, except maybe for minmin
@John Singley super easy combos and even if you mess them up, you deal insane damage. Half your moves either have invincibility or super armour. You have a reflector with the best multiplier so you don’t camped by projectiles super often. All that and then once you reach 100% you get rage art, when you deal more damage, your grab does crazy damage and you have a command grab that does 40% unscaled. EWGF so you get free combos and kill confirms. Pretty fucking easy character

People need to learn how to outmaneuver him and punish him harder then they do now. That’s the hard part, but people just get either too ansi or too afraid of diamond. Bait him out, cover landings AFTER anvil, mix up edge guards and ledge traps and out space him you have the range. There is no reason if you are marth for example and you’re getting checked by Steve back air, you have the range and drift to beat his aerials and specials.
