Sisqui looks so clean and smooth on Samus. Perfect charge cancels, RAR b-reverses, bomb landings, cross-ups... He's really pushing her movement to the limit. Only thing he doesn't do is wavebouncing, but it seems RAR b-reverse pretty much does the job.
yeah, Rar b reverse is way easier to setup and react with as well. no use for hand gymnastics when you dont need them. gives you more brain to think about how to punish kazuya moves

Yeah I wonder why he favors that. He can wave-bounce obviously. Better hurtbox (though he does it with dark too)? Option to go for bair? Just easier or more consistent?
@@lukesenseney1045 It is just way easier to setup and do on reaction. There is simply less to do with fingers and less to chip away at the thought process. It does the same job in the end so it just lets you focus more on the match than the execution

Sisqui was playing so phenomenal this set it was nice to watch. Sisqui baited out a lot of options and had ledge traps on lockdown. Sisqui honestly made riddles look like a bot this set with baiting out a lot of his spot dodges and rage drives
From 11:30 to 11:35 is probably the cleanest samus neutral I have ever seen
If you've been watching Quik for awhile you can absolutely SEE the coaching in fruition for Sisqui. There's no doubt he is learning from him and adding it into his already great skillset

It's a true combo and yeah there are other Samus that do it.
Up smash is a hit or miss:/ , I'm more of an up til or down smash type of guy
People underrated up smash because they don’t understand that it’s main use is to catch character on ledge
I'm a riddles fan but ima Samus main over that and seeing her dance all over his top ter character I got to love it.. great game
I really think Terry was the answer here, Sisqui played really well around Kazuya and I feel like Riddles needs to have more faith in his Terry
I'd agree 100%. His movement with Terry is very clean and the increased mobility would have helped a ton.

Sisqui has AndresFN on spain, who has a really good Terry, i think he's top Terry player. Sisqui should have a really good MU knowlegdeto Terry, I mean, they're not the same, but i think he could win to RD's Terry

Riddles may have been sticking this out for more matchup experience. Not sure he has many sets against a top Samus with his Kazaya.

Bueno la verdad, la duda es bastante, sisqui le ha tocado MUs 50/50 con quién nunca había jugado y puede ganar siendo la primera vez la verdad, Yaura le tocó contra dabuz que es un olimar ☠️, si sisqui le llega a ganar a sparg0 o a Tea me callo la boca, pero Yaura es mejor ahora.
@@ganr1034 uno de los "mejores" amigos de sisqui es el mejor Kazuya de Europa, ya tiene la experiencia y sabe como jugarle a un Kazuya, se sabe todo el move set y como ganarle a kazuya, ya que los movimientos de todos los kazuya son lo mismo en quien sea que lo use. Ya la tenía ganada

@@alexanderwoodgate4015 si, la verdad a mi me da asco kazuya, pero no queda más que adaptarse, sisqui se quejaba mucho de kazuya y se venía abajo cuando le sacaban ventaja, pero aquí se ve que ha mejorado mucho su juego y mental en general
@@blaztt7482 Eso es cierto. Soy un seguidor casual tanto de Sisqui como AndresFn y me sorprende ver lo mucho que mejoran y demuestran su talento cultivado con el tiempo y esfuerzo.
Ojo, mientras encuentro bien asqueroso encontrar un Kazuya a nivel competitivo, también sé que hay que Git Gud y tratar de lidiar ante ello con las cartas que uno tiene.

Dark Samus doesn't have a longer roll animation for dodge. Samus ground roll is longer i think because of it.
Also Dark Samus floats differently in the air because no jump animation
The difference between the rolls frame wise is like 1 frame, but the main difference is the hit box shifting
@@samthebagman4643 Samus' roll has 3 frames of more lag from what I remember (in case you wanted to know). But the rolls go the same distance

I feel like the fact riddles doesn’t use up air to cover platforms is really why he loses. man would be unstoppable if he could grow more with Kazuya instead of using electric as much or just wave dashing under platform causing no pressure

Funny to see Riddles adjust in game 2 and use his lasers way better without being punished, but still get clapped. Kazuya is not ban worthy, and loses to projectiles even with his reflector

Samus should be top tier.
Has the damage output to keep up with Kazuya.
Has tether and fast launching Up-B, floaty and recovery mixups.
Very good neutral, OOS options. Why does neutral B damage, combo start AND kill?
One of the best kill up throws in the game.
Ridiculously heavy and has very good escape options, and a fairly small hitbox compared to the other heavies.
Can zone and combo.
Lots of reputable Samus reps rn. Has a good mu against Steve, Kazyua

That move just has a massive amount of pushback when shielded

What a clean Samus
Samus: great recovery options, heavy but fast, one of the best projectiles, great combos, great grab, great kill options and setups, but the smash community is so dumb, that a character can’t be determined “great” until they win a super major, or Leo picks them up. Gotta love it.

Cant stand Samus. Really should be considered top tier, she has all the right tools shes just not chosen as consistently as other top tiers. Charge shot should have more move delay & spamming the move consecutively should not be allowed. Itd be great if there was a small timer between shots similar to Warios bike cooldown.
