New update made the gas in the void start to stack harder the longer your in it, and unable to be blocked by tougher times! However not all is lost. Just take trips rather than hang out In the void! And if the stacking damage gets too bad go back in the orb of protection to reset the damage stacking

I used corpse flower and the forgein fruits combo.what it does is instead of giving you 50% health instantly it will give you that health slowly so basicly you get an big regen boost

I feel like it's more worth it to just swap the disposable missile launcher for a spinel tonic when you leave the void, since it has a pretty good regen and will always be active. But that's just me, I might be stuck in my own ways.
in case you haven't unlocked gesture of the drowned: i did this without gesture of the drowned (mfw i go to the bazaar and it's not in the options). on pretty much every run i got atleast 1 soulbound catalyst. on the winning run (the last one) i got it at the 6th stage, so yeah stack those fuel cells and you'll be good. what i ended up picking at the bazaar was the essence of eresy, which was really strong in the last 3 stages as my missiles were barely doing any damage. tl;dr stack enough fuel cells and you'll be fine p.s monsoon is for masochists

Also using sacrifice prevents you from learning how to efficiently loot a stage. Again this is a very good guide for new players who just want skins but if you want to get good at the game you can’t play with artifacts
I don't think anybody is under the illusion that this is a general guide for the game. It's quite clearly cheese for the sake of the alternate skin. But also, if new players want to hone their skill, they'll hone their skill. Nobody needs someone to tell them to play the game vanilla to get better at it. And if they want to play every single one of their runs with command, there's nothing wrong with that. The only reason get good at the game would be to not drag down random lobbies but at that point you could easily find people playing on drizzle. Like I get your point, but I feel like too many people forget this isn't a competitive game. It's just casual fun.

@@KaliTakumi try it with razorwire now, million times better Only lunar coin you'll need to spend is the one to open blue portal (or none if it appears on it's own) and you can skip the whole equip setup, plus the razors proc on a smaller radius than the rockets reach sho you won't have to go far to reach the items that drop unlike missiles that can travel very far and not blocked by terrain
It can only bring you to 1 hp. Good for not killing yourself when falling off a cliff or the edge of the map, but not really useful in practise outside of areas without monsters
I think you only need to watch the first 5 seconds of the video to understand who the intended audience for this is, and why anyone who could just do that wouldn't bother with a guide.

first stage took you 5 minutes? holy shit. i have nothing but praise for you, youre bad at the game but youre smart. very good strategy you have. honestly i can beat first stage before hitting 2 minutes consistently on monsoon but i havent even thought about the artifacts. shows you that knowledge can beat skills. ive never beaten the game on monsoon as well so....
Artifact of sacrifice can make it harder to rush the stage if you're looking to get a decent number of items since you have to rely on rng for drops. But honestly I usually spend a lot of time on the first stage because it's of little consequence.
@@KaliTakumi I see what you mean. In hindsight there are totally be more possibilities on why you stayed for 5 mins other than skill. I've tried to beat the game on monsoon and Typhoon (modded difficulty, 100%+ enemy spawns) without artifacts and fucking hell its tough. I've made it to stage 7 and 6 often but its so tough. At that point, EVEN if you make great time you will be behind like 7 lvls. And with some characters that shit is near impossible, Acrid and Rex for example.

These strats are for characters I dislike to play, but I do like doing those raw monsoon runs and feeling that satisfying achievement emotion.

1 armor plating and a wood thingy (bottom left equipment) gives you immunity to the void

I just got my final mastery. I didn’t use artifacts and only fought mithrix for all of them.
I like to use razor wires in the void about 5 of em should do and of course bungus
It's better to have swarms off because sacrifice is based of xp gain and xp gain and money is halfed along with enemy hp
I admittedly don't know the ins and outs of it, but I can tell you after many runs that Sacrifice is garbage without Swarms on.

How do you even get the equip, do the mobs just dropnit sometimes?
Yea, the only item type they won't drop are lunar items

It's not working for me. Enemies won't spawn in between charging phases
