As an old school Pearl Jam fan from late 1991 I can definitely say that I have seen or heard a TON of interviews with members of the band, as many as I could get my eyes and ears on... this is hands down one of the best. Its very special to be near 50 and still have the thing you fell in love with when you were 14 not only still around but be just as humble, important, artistic, civically engaged and forward pushing. The music these guys make and the strength of what they fight for and believe in has been a constant of mine, and many others, lives. We're lucky. To get to this point where good men like Stone and Jeff are really starting to let us all hear the inner journey, helped by an exceptional interviewer, is really a joy. This was such a cozy, warm, revealing chat, thanks for it.
@@Fakename70 maybe I’ve come across it at some point but I was definitely being hyperbolic. I’m a huge fan and have taken in a lot of PJ since I heard Alive way back then. I was a sophomore in high school and it changed my life. The year previous my dad passed away so it was a godsend to hear a band that “spoke” to me. There’s a real comfort in music that makes you feel less alone. And yeah, I’ve nerded out on them since. Apologies tho if my first statement made it sound like I was some kind of authority… I just love them. Very much so in fact.
Well said, my man. I ,too, have been on a journey w/ PJ since I got a hold of Ten back in '91. It's been a hellova ride. & in the course of the last maybe 3 records they put out, they've all done a real service to the fans by doing a ton of interviews w/ insights into things they never shared publicly before. It's really cool. ✌️😎
Inspiring to hear Jeff admit to being reluctant to Stone and how it took many years to get to a state of love and trust. I imagined they were always close, but knowing they went through what true friends need to endure and eventually became not just bandmates of one of the greatest bands ever to now being true friends is again very inspiring and reminds me of how special are friends are.

“Nearly every interview”, eh?
Even the 1991 KISW interview to introduce the new band to the public?

As far as I'm concerned, Stone and Jeff are Green River rock icons to me. Green River lives on.
I aspire to be like Jeff and at 61 be able to look good and dress like a 12 year old. Lol. Great interview.

❤ Andy Wood RIP.. I love you 💕
This was a great interview. Have to laugh at how they’re dressed. Did they read two different weather reports?
You can tell stone is the kind of guy who still lived at home.
Love it hehe
My favorite duo❤❤❤
Hello my beautiful fan. How are you doing. I really love and appreciate your love and support ❤🎉
Did people really refer to him as “Crazy Eddie”? 😂
Yep it comes from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and a journey in montains where Eddie crazy jumped cliffs
Stone is such a brat, I love him. 😆
So strange they never ever speak about Dave A.
I think its even stranger that people are still obsessed with Dave A.
They don’t like Dave A.
That’s all it is.
They don't live in the past. 30 years have passed...
@@rocknmovies they were talking about Dave K and Jack Irons...not in the past? The fact is that Dave A was part of their best creative period...
@@tiagocorreia5878 Totally agree. @rocknmovies you really contradicted yourself.
