Lydia, I was blessed to be at the womens' conference in Roanoke today! I just moved to VA, from NH. Not having friends in the area, forced me to attend the conference alone. This song resonated with me. Thank you!
I love your songs. Very heart felt and God knew I needed it now. This storm is relentless but He's having me play this song and others to remind me I'll be ok. 👑🙏❤️🔥🥹🪨
I heard your song for the first time this morning on HIS Radio. Thank you for the beautiful song--and for this video that shares the story behind the song. More people need to hear this.
I love your honesty...God has really given you such talent. Keep being real...God is going to take you places you can only dream of!! I can't wait until I can buy your CDs...l love your voice, your songs...they encourage and inspire me!
Lydia, thanks for this. I've been feeling quite a weight on my shoulders lately, so this song has helped me a lot. I love both versions of your song. I listen to both of them almost on a daily basis. Thanks for being an amazing person as always and for sharing the stories as to why and how you come up with your songs! It really means more than you know!
As I covered this song I felt the same things you did, my great grandmother just passed away and one of my family members showed my cover of this song to her a little before she passed and she cried. This is a touching song! ❤️
such a beautiful song😭❤️ this song has been so important to me in the last month. you’ve reminded me that God is always there for me, no matter what. and it’ll be okay, because it’s in His hands! God is so SO good!❤️
Last year my marriage ended and I was having to sell our house and finish up everything as it ended. This song was my go to- many times during the day and night. I would wake up sobbing or false asleep sobbing and the only thing I could say was “l’ll be okay” For months I would repeat those words over and over again until the panic and devastation would subside for a bit… until the next wave would hit Its been exactly one year this week that I walked out into the unknown The only thing that I did know is that God had me and would not let me fall. I survived the heartbreaking moments and now I am moving into thriving Thank you for helping me to have a reminder that I would be okay
This song is so moving. Brings me to tears every time. 😭 Yes, we can hear the thunder, but we know we'll be okay because we have Jesus, by our side, always. I find peace and reassurance knowing that Jesus holds us in His hands, and He will never let us go.
Amen, be still and wait on the Lord 👑🙏❤️🔥🥹🪨
