The importance of a good crane operator is critical when working all the way up there. I'm in construction but I'm one of the last guys in putting in the floor covering. Love watching you guys and much respect to you all. Stay safe up on the iron.
Aaaaand cut! I would turn the camera off too. On the short fillers, instead of fighting each other, one of you should go first while it’s free not bound up. Then the other guy can get on and work efficiently.
Glad to see you guys are tied off back in the sixties we had no tie offs and we didn’t coon the beams we walked almost all of them to cut loose we walked out there like your video stay safe iw from no
I am going to try to give you a tip from someone who has been in your boots before. For as much as I’ve been hard on you, I’m just razzing you. When you use your spud or bar, pry from the ‘live’ side. You’re not going to move the clip! Whenever possible, if you’re not on it, be on the live side so you can use your legs/feet.
tdematteo01 yea way after tho once we plum the building the bolt up crew comes through and snaps em all, when connecting we put two bolts and move on to the next piece
@@sfurq2954 rising gang and details crew... when I first started I would bitch at this connector for always throwing in the wrong size bolts. He told me " WE ERECT IT... YOU CORRECT IT" 😄. I understood that the raising gang had to have their beam counts to keep schedule but when I was bolting up and now I gotta change bolts out for no reason shit just pissed me off. Or he'd throw long ass ones in there and now that bolts always in my bag.

The structural steel trade is the one I love most. When you run into problems, finding solutions to the problem is important.
Watching these videos really makes me miss iron! I was in the Navy 9 years and then did iron for 10 yrs

Quick question for you. Is there a person that comes behind you and torques everything or inspects the connection you make. Thanks
