Why does nothing work for Hook2? Did you guys give up on this model..Lots of features being added to other models.

We have the Lowrance Hook Reveal 7 on our boat and was told by the seller (who also contacted Lowrance Aus) that the cmap works but im assuming from this video it doesn’t? We own a cmap sd card also but nothing changes when we insert into the Hook Reveal

Unless your Hook Reveal is a "X" series, the C-Map-N and C-Map-N+ will work with the Hook Reveal units.

The HOOK series has many features that make it one of the easiest units to use. It is a feature rich unit designed for ease of use primarily as a fishfinder. The Elite series will have additional features and the HDs line will have more than Elite.

My Elite 9ti came with full size sd map cards and only 1 mini sd card reader slot. Reasoning?

Are you sure it was not a mini SD inside a SD adapter ? Mine came like that.
