Bridding = using multiple combat styles in a fight. Generally the combination range/melee is not called bridding. It is also normal to have armour switches for the different combat styles. Hybridding generally refers to using two styles (generally mage/melee) and tribridding refers to using all three styles. Tribridding is normally done with 'nh'= no honor = using protection prayers (in the past this was considered not honorable, now it is seen as the highest form of pking by many because it includes the most variables). A lot more can be said about this art but for now I'll leave it at that.
'catch a dude on robes' refers to getting a chance to hit someone while they are wearing their robes (because that has the lowest defense bonuses). Off pray is an nh bridding term that means you hit your opponent with a combat style that they do not have protection prayers on for.
