    Great that you are showing the issues with the bike after using it for adventure. It really helps me to get the maintenance right. I think your guidance is the best out there. Really appreciate it.

      Thanks mate, I too appreciate your kind words🙂
      It was a big mistake on my part though, should have changed them before leaving the hotel and at the cost of repeating myself, I was really really lucky that it rained all through out, trust me, else Disaster😉 cheers

    Thanks for making these videos. Very helpful. I just changed my chain and sprockets, and one breakpad unhooked.

      Hello bhai🙂 yup, simple job and trust me, comes in handy if just in case we have to remove the tire for puncture fixes, if that happens😉

    Well, you sure got your money's worth from those pads ;)
    Make sure you give the brake pin a bit of love , keep it from rusting stuck.
    The trouble now is your pads will wear to the scores in the disk :(

    • @leuheanrede
      @leuheanrede  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hahaha, yup, indeed I got the best out of brakes and considering the scoring on disk is also superficial so won't have to change it, else it would have been extra cost and I would be kicking myself 😉 cheers

    • @leuheanrede
      @leuheanrede  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey mate, not on any link, just request RE service center to order if not available, but that is the best place to source these spares. Next would be RE warehouse in your city, might be hard to find but there is always one ;) cheers

      Really late response but I live in the USA and have found eBay to be an incredible source of parts. Everything is affordable and ships quickly it’s amazing how fast stuff can come from India!

    Here in the UK,we have a different designed holding (pads) pin.. My 2018 has only 1 clip,, My rear was binding on so I took the caliper off and greased the pins.. But after a test ride it still felt wrong when using the rear.. I suspect its the rear master cylinder that is at fault,,maybe the seals have broken down and the piston is not returning,,, As I use my rear alot I must get it fix sooon !!!

      I had the same problem. I just opened up the master cylinder and it was stuck. How did your reparation turned out?

    Hi, have you had the recall for replacing the brake calipers under warranty. I have had mine done in the uk, although there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the ones that were taken off . Do you get these recalls where you are?

    • @leuheanrede
      @leuheanrede  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate, nope, but I can remember there was a recall, some issue with the orings i believe, but I have been lucky thus far bikes at 24000 kms and no issues thus far ;) cheers

    • @stevesmith3216
      @stevesmith3216 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. The dealer told me the recall was for the corrosion on the actual calipers because the coating wasn't up to the job,and salt roads were causing it. As I say mine were fine and no sign of any corrosion. Like you, I clean and service my bike regularly and all is well. I think that some of the problems are caused by owners not bothering to look after the bikes.
      All the best.

      @stevesmith3216 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well whatever the reason, we will have new brakes at no cost to us, so that's all good for me. Happy riding.

    Good that you have managed with little or no damage 👍As you rightly said, consequences to this might have been fatal.... but all is well that ends well. BTW, I noticed that your chain may be at its max limit of tensioning, going by the axle position & those of the adjusting nuts. Might be wrong, but just a hint.
    P.S: I have connected with you on insta, going by the name - baunduley_byatachhele. Check out the clicks, please✌✌

      Thanks mate, yup it ended almost well, stupid stupid me and I thank rain for it, never again am I ever cursing riding in rain😉
      And yes you are right, chain is on its way out, got just about 4-5 mm of adjustment left, it can't be seen as it's hidden behind the nut and washer 🙃I believe I can still squeeze 4-5 thousand kms.
      But you would asking, what's wrong with this guy, just had one misadventure with thinking he could stretch brakes and now this😊
      Certainly, checking insta now
