A lot of us an are allowed to drill. Not every renter experience is the same. I’m allowed to paint any colour, change out hardware or lighting, I took off the medicine cabinet and added a big mirror. As long as everything goes back and dark colours are primed over, it’s all gucci
They make battery operated remote control light bulbs that screw into a light fixture. They look more realistic than puck lights

I love puck lights... but I never use them because they go through batteries so quickly. I wish they would last longer.
