I tried out the ampero stomp recently to see if it would be a good replacement for the hx stomp. Honestly, I thought it sounded better than the hx stomp. But it is lacking in some areas, so I’m sending it back.

Does sound close to Vai without the Vai pickups. Its not that everyone will be able to afford one. The video was very informative.

Can you make video about ampero stomp with rokman sustainor amp. It has very specific precompressed crystal cleans with stereochorus module and short delays

    Hi Davlav ,
First of all thks for the fantastic presets and tutorials.
A few months ago you you solved a problem with my QC.
I hope you are have some time to help me with a new problem.
I bought the Ampero stage 2.
Use the balanced outputs and guitar in input 1.
The problem is that when i choose an emty preset or a preset you created i keep hearing my clean guitar signal.
When i turn amp ,effect or cab off , its still there.
    What can i do?
    gr,Harry

Sorry, I can't think of anything that would cause that and I don't have an Ampero Stage to try and replicate it.

What changes can be made to above preset to make the clean sound like the edge of breakup like in tender surrender?

I think that edge of breakup tone is his drive tone with the guitar volume way down. When I watch the live performance it looks like he has the guitar volume at 3 or 4. I think that's how he's achieving that tone. Unfortunately, most modelers don't do that roll the volume back to clean up the tone very well. I'd look to add the Blues Driver in front of the clean tone perhaps.
