Nice video lads, my experience Weed runs through that mark on the bigger tides Worth having a look for peelers whilst your there. I prefer peelers as bait over worm. I find on that mark it best to fish the low at first light, more small bass and bream about. Best of luck next time 👍
You only got the one fish but that's by the by in the grand scheme of things, isn't it when you get to spend an evening sat there watching the sun set. Great vid, lads & another new sub.
Brilliant video chaps. I went into Reefers last week when on Holiday down your end. James was an absolute Gent and helped me out when it came to fishing marks. Couldn't believe he was only 22 with a that experience. Keep it up!! Got a comment from Mr John Locker too. That's a true honour haha.
Lovely session, lads, loved the ambience of a chilled evening on the Fal that you included. My God, we are so lucky to call this paradise home, and we should NEVER take for granted what we have on our doorsteps. Earned yourselves a well deserved sub from me, guys, looking forwards to watching the channel grow, and bumping you into next time I venture from Scorrier for a wee session. Last outing for me was on the Hayle estuary with a mate chucking some lures. Errrrr, yeah, that's what we did, chucked some lures, but it's all practice I guess! Who dared say “blank”? 🙄
Thankyou so much mate that means a lot! It’s absolutely stunning isn’t it. Very much appreciate the sub and hope we can keep the channel growing the way it is! Haha always the way, love a bit of casting practice now and again 😂😉
Just an idea - I wonder if those bites were hitting the bait sideways on? If so, try using a small circle hook at the top of the bait. You're using long baits with only one hook, so a pennel set up might improve your hook up rate
@@anotherangleUK difficult on a boat without wind and tide together definitely. I’ll be giving similar to this mark another go soon for them which I’ll be sure to upload.
Was on a charter with a guy down in swanage, apparently with Bream, sometimes you'll get a load of knocks that seem like bites but it's actually when bait is too close to their eggs the male Bream will just attack the bait but not eat it. Which is why it sometimes seems like you miss a load of strikes
HI guys Richy here we fished together on Penryn quay last week nice little video, could you please let me know where in Penryn you got your ragworm from. cheers hope to see you again sometime .
Hi Richy! Thankyou mate, any more luck on the mullet recently? Yes it was 'Reefers Fishing Tackle' in Penryn. Ill attach a link: maps.app.goo.gl/jjvBXEZiTytZzXuKA
Hi lads! Ace video! a bit advice from an awd fart . . leave a bite to develop a bit before you hit into it. That is a beautiful little place you're fishing which is obviously heaving with fish. Good skills! Kudos! Pete 🏴
@@TheFalAnglers for saltwater fish?? Chopped squid, pilchard, and tuna oil mixed with chook pellets or cooked rice. Or chopped up bait fish of some kind. You need to bring the fish to you.
@LloydyBey I love name the species type stuff . .. I get all hot and bothered when people get birds or insects wrong. I spent that much time with my head in a book as a kid. Fish, birds and insects. Its my obsession lol.
Nice videos in a beautiful setting. Keep it up lads. 👍🏻🎣

Fish or no fish it’s always worth it to spend evenings in places like this isn’t it! Catching fish is just a bonus sometimes 😊
@@TheFalAnglers Absolutely. Tight lines. 👍
Just found your channel. Love this lads reminds me of my time at Falmouth uni fishing with my mates and camping !
Thankyou mate glad you enjoyed 😊🤝
beautifull setting.....try some floating beads near the hook to make the hookbait buoyant and keep it out the weed perhaps..?
Definitely something we will consider. Hopefully give it some time and the weed will pass but if not we will definitely give that a go 😊

really nice video boys! I have a fair bit of luck using running rigs, Keep at it.

Definitely a possibility! Yes that’s a good idea we need to make up some more pennels more suited to this style of fishing!
@@TheFalAnglers only just discovered your channel and I'm loving it, keep up the great work 🙂

Nice video lads, I visited that area last week on my boat. Keep the videos coming and thanks for sharing.

Great video. Where do you guys get your fishing gear from?
Thankyou! Anything specific or just gear in general?
Hi
Tried fishing malpas estuary with artificial ragworm and no luck, guess I’m gonna need fresh bait next
Fresh bait is always better than artificial in my opinion. Good luck!
Good stuff,Enjoyed that sun set .
Thankyou mate it’s just simply stunning isn’t it!
A lot of effort has gone into making this film, well done lads
New sub here
Thankyou mate really appreciate the support 😁
Wonder how you might get on at this mark in future? You can never really judge from one or two visits. I look forward to seeing how you get on.
We will definitely revisit this mark soon! Need all this weed to leave
great video lads!
Cheers mate!

This isn’t the Helford but relatively close to it yes
Aye up Lads looks like some Nice fishing spots you got there!! Best regards Smith 😉👍🎣🎣🎣🎣
Thankyou mate 🎣
Great fishing guys! 🔥🎣

Groundbait is what you need.
I think this is what it's called in England.
I'm an Aussie.
And no great exploding sinker cast scaring every fish away.
What ground bait would you use for bream fishing?

That’s not how bream work in the uk but appreciate the advice mate
Bream as I’m gilts ?

my guess on the eggs would be 15 spined stickleback.
Interesting, that would make sense for that area too
