Quick question on adding the solar. Should I go straight to batteries from the controller? With the solar charging does that confuse the other charging devices (the alternator and charger)? Should I add a way to turn off solar when engine running or plugged in?

But you could only use 50% of those amp/hrs. Time to get into the 21st century

And they weigh a lot more. I had my front compartment floor fall out with all that weight. Cheaper isn't always the way to go. Thanks for the update on series and parallel .
