    Could you do one with healthy foods from Walmart? I don’t have any popular health foods stores where I live and I would be interested to see what you buy from just an average grocery store if you shop there

      Calista Renee dude Walmart is the GOAT they have everything!
      -powdered pb
      -light string cheese
      -pop chips
      -jelly pop popcorn 100 cals a bag
      -smartfood pop corn
      -every sparkling water you can think of
      -organic frozen berries
      -sugar free fruit pops
      In my opinion, Trader Joe’s is fun and trendy but Walmart is a more budget friendly and efficient way to go

    I went through a hard break up. Stayed out of the gym for two whole months was super disappointed and felt like I lost a lot of my progress recently got back in the gym and was able to start watching you again. Missed it so much thank you for all your positive energy and magnetic personality🖤

      Ive wondered, what does tofu taste like? Texture? Is it hard like cheese or softer like cream cheese? I know ppll say it takes on flavor of what you cook it with but Im terrified of the texture, smell etc as I have very weird taste buds & nose for stuff lately, even though my taste buds are limited due to a brain tumor. Its weird I know but want to get an idea before buying it. Which ones do you suggest for amatuers & how to use? lol

    I saw your recent instagram post in which you have your psoriasis on full display and are still shining through, your strength and body positivity almost make the psoriasis invisible. I’ve struggled with Psoriasis of the scalp for years (which is awful enough) but the past 6 months its started flaring up all over my body especially the top of my arms and top of my feet/ankles. Because of that i’ve avoided wearing sandals, going bare foot, wearing any top without sleeves etc for the past few months but seeing your post I see how silly i’ve been to let a silly autoimmune disease destroy my confidence! Thanks for showing me that we’re all more than any skin condition (or anything else on the outside), its whats on the inside that really shines through! 💕💕

      Dont know what meal plan you follow but I LOVE the Crunchmaster Protein Salted Caramel chocolat protein crackers/brownie thins! OMG OMG OMG! They are a snack/dessert but are crunchy like a cracker. Besides eating them by the bowlfuls, Ive crumbled them on yogurt, cottage cheese with strawberries(mimics choc cog strawberries.. +other berries you like. Could put them on oatmeal, or whatevs. They taste like the crunchy edges of a brownie lol & have helped my sweet tooth so much. I get them at Sams Club & you get a ginormous bag for like 5-6bucks. Also, Sprouts & TJs have frozen chocolate covered bananas, to die for!!!

    Just wanted to say you are inspiring me so much, I'm a mom of three with auto immune and auto inflammatory health issues and even though I havent lost any weight I'm pushing through.     for tofu, my go-to is extra firm tofu pressed and cubed, cover in corn starch, bake at 400 degrees F for 15 min, toss in marinade, continue to bake for 10 minutes. comes out with a great texture :)

    Tofu is so versatile because it has such a mild flavor! Buy extra firm, press it for like 30 min, and cook it in a pan in WHATEVER seasoning or sauce you want and voila. Also bomb in an air fryer

    Mapo tofu! It’s a Chinese dish that my mom would make for my family, and to make it vegetarian you can substitute the meat with cauliflower rice!

    Whitney, here’s something fun to do with tofu. Sometimes I’ll cut it into cubes and soak it in some flavor (sweet chili, coconut aminos, whatever) and then after an hour or so in the fridge, I’ll bread it with gluten free bread crumbs and almond flour then air fry it! So good!!!

    I recommend patting the tofu down with a paper towel to get as much excess moisture out as you can, and then marinating it in coconut aminos and garlic for 30 minutes or so. Another great marinade for tofu, if you're a fan of the vinegar-y taste, is apple cider vinegar and honey :)

    Oh she glows has some good tofu recipes! We cut the tofu up into cubes then marinated the tofu or coat it in garlic salt/powder a little cayenne and some sesame seeds maybe some maple syrup or honey just a bit and then bake for like 20 minutes until it’s golden brown. You could throw in some soy sauce too if you wanted! So good on top of buckwheat noodle bowls or rice vermicelli noodle bowls 👌🏼

    I was a tofu skeptic but I've really come around to it. It's great with homemade peanut sauce (Pinch of Yum has a good recipe), soba or rice noodles and tons of veggies. Yum! It's also good scrambled with spices and you can eat it as a scramble or you can put it in a breakfast burrito with sweet potato, avocado, beans, salsa/enchilada sauce, cheese etc. So good! Would love to see more tofu recipes!

    Try smoked tofus - if you find the good good it will blow your mind! It's my go to stir fry with quinoa, frozen veggies, peanut butter and chili sauce 🔥

    I love the jasmine rice and the buffalo hummus. I would say give the new frozen egg frittatas made with cauliflower a try. They are so delicious and fairly healthy.

    That tofu... BEST TOFU OUT THERE!! I cut it up into little slices then put it in a pan with a little avocado oil, a little garlic salt and some chili powder. So easy and so yummy!!

    ok so I’m vegan & know my way with tofu. this is my favorite way to cook them: 1. press tofu overnight or for atleast an hour (drain tofu then wrap in paper towels & place between two plates & place something heavy on top) 2. preheat oven to 350 3. Add your favorite seasonings to tofu w a lil bit of oil to make it stick. 4. cook for 10 minutes? (idk i never pay attention) 5. Flip tofu & cook til golden brown or to your preference. 6. add to your favorite dish! I like to add mine to a rice bowl or a stiry fry. also you can make them in the air fryer the same way! time & heat will vary though!

    P.F. Chang’s copycat lettuce cups with that tofu is awesome, I put both blocks, a whole bag or the cabbage and carrot mix from Trader Joe’s and the Trader Joe’s Soyaki, too with Avocado and sesame seeds it’s so yum yum yum!

    Dry Fried Tofu is the BOMB. In stir frys, on bagels, over rice! Use a non-stick pan and after pressing the extra firm tofu block - slice into 10 slices and place in a pan with no oil or butter (we are dry frying). Press each side with a spatula for 4 minutes - they will scream and that's when you know that you are pressing them properly! After 4 minutes on each side they are done!

    Dry out firm tofu with some paper towels for about 10 minutes. Cube them and throw in the air fryer till wanted crispy consistency. Meanwhile, heat up the pan, add some chopped garlic and onions, and any veggies you want, add some panang curry paste, some coconut milk or just water, cook till veggies are preferred crunch, and enjoy! 🤤

    Vegan here haha! Get smoked tofu or make sure to really dry it out so when you cook it it gets crispy and also toss it in a bit of cornstarch and that will help dry it out and crisp it up!

    Oohhh girl, the Hippeas Puffs in Vegan White Cheddar is sooo good! They also have a BBQ and Sriracha flavor but ya girl was looking for a replacement for cheetos.
    As for tofu, I usually get the firm kind and cut them into smaller cubes and let them dry out on paper towels as much as possible. Then I coat them in a corn starch mixture with salt, pepper, and tumeric and pan fry them :) In the winter, I get the soft kind and put it in my soups. xoxo

    TOFU ALERT 🚨
    cube the tofu, fry them up
    in some coconut oil and sprinkle with some sea salt. Fry them until golden brown and crispy. Tastes just like french fries 🤤

    I followed you back in 2017 when I lost 40 pounds. Got lazy and gained back 10. Stopped working out 😞. I’ve recently gotten back on the train. When you said “I miss you. Come back to me.” That was ALL the confirmation I needed 😂 I said “Well, Whit obviously knows what’s best.”

    I'm back to my healthy life after having my baby! So glad you posted this! :) I have been looking for healthy snacks. :)
    I have some tofu tips! There are different firmness of tofu, we prefer the firm tofu. We like to fry tofu and bake tofu!
    To fry it we just cut the tofu in thin slices, season it like you would meat (maybe a little more seasoning) and fry in a pan.
    To bake it, you need to dry the tofu as much as you can by cutting it to cubes and dry it with paper towels. Then put paper towels under and over the tofu and place something heavy such as a plate and leave it for about 30 min. After that put the tofu in a mixing bowl and put 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of soy sauce or your coconut aminos :), and 1 tbsp of cornstarch. Mix it well and bake at 400 degrees for about 25 min, or until crispy. If you want to add any sauces to it do it after it's baked. I like to bake the tofu with my veggies and what not lol. ( I know it's a process but it gets faster after doing it a few times. :) )
    Also, at the Costco in Sandy off I-15 , we buy organic tofu. It comes in a box of 6 packets and it's only $6! For some reason I've only seen it at that Costco, mine doesn't carry it.
    Rice tip! You can cook a good amount of rice in the rice cooker and as soon as it comes out you can freeze it for later. Try to keep as much moisture in the container when you freeze it so when you reheat it is still moist. If it's not moist just add a splash of water before heating up and it should re-moisten. :)

    i like to crumble tofu in a pan with olive oil and cook it for a long time til its golden and has a lil crunch, then add tajin! its great in tacos, burritos, or even just with black beans and quac!

    I love all your favorites! I’m not sure if these are local to NY Whole Foods, but Ithaca hummus in lemon dill and Clio yogurt bars in hazelnut are both TDF LIFE CHANGING so amazing

    Siete makes bomb (cassava) tortilla chips made with avocado oil. Perfect alternative to traditional corn style chips if you’re corn intolerant like my husband. Or if you want to just try something new (really delicious on their own too). And Costco sells them too so you can enjoy the goodness in bulk!

    Whit!!! Tofu!!!! I am Japanese and grew up eating it. My favorite way to prepare it is to put it on a plate with a paper towel then put another plate on top and put some heavy freaking books on it and press it for an hour ish, makes it more firm and I love it! I get the organic one from tjs😁 if that didn't make sense look up pressed tofu I'm sure you can find something 😂

      Kelsey Wilcox yes!! Cube it up, toss it all in a bowl with the sauces and then put it in on 400 for like 12-15 min 🤤

    Some ideas for tofu - cut them into cubes and simply airfry them. Add them to your jasmine rice, top with avocado, douse with salsa and voila - my favourite go to meal all the time 🥰

    Thank you for that waffle recommendation, I’m a blueberry waffle love too 🤤 and I have to trade one of my favorite Whole Foods finds - Hippeas which are organic chick pea snacks shaped like cheese doodles with a good crunch 😋😋

    Always get extra firm tofu :) You can make a dank tofu taco meal by adding taco seasoning and splitting up the tofu in a saucepan. Totes yummy
