- In December 1944, the first Seehund midget submarines became operational in the German Navy. The new submarine surpassed other combat submersible vehicles of similar size in many parameters.

There were two of those in the U-Boat Pens of Lorient during an inspection by Sturmgeist in Medal of Honor Frontline.
Dear WG, The City of Hamburg got a very nice navy museum. It has a Seehund, many huge modells, shells and other relicts. I can totaly recoment it to you. It's name is Internationale Maritime Museum Hamburg.

How deep was the sea where they were active, for such a small sub it seems like it wasnt really going deep
From the English Channel to the arctic convoys. But they didnt necessarilly NEED to go deep. So tiny and streamlined active sonor systems of the day got little or no return signal so all subhunters could do was listen for engines on hydrophones and shit in the general direction. Unlike the large, flat, gun strewn decks of conventional boats which were relatively easy prey by '44 and had to find ways to trick their hunters. (Is part of why the Electroboote and Seehund programs gained traction)

@@SomewhatSummarized Maybe the oxygen meters can be remodified to have more capacity, only now it determines surfaceability.
Now if it reaches 5% or so, the sub will surface and begin recharging.
Just my guess.
I believe an entire fleet of midget submarines was lost after sailing out from the netherlands due to a storm, which might have been a large chunk of those lost submarines not of combat

@@doomguy.23frommars60 I was but they were ready to be launched in the last test which was ages ago. When it takes sooooo long for them to do something they promished it actually doesn't exist. They should have brute forced them to the game last time and they'd be balanced by now.
@@toxicelamain2494 yeah well they don't wanna do the same mistakes as the CV rework which people still hate and are still unbalanced so it's best they are like this for now because rebalancing something already in game is very difficult for many reasons
@@doomguy.23frommars60 It’s a casual game with a communiy with a really casual mindset, and ppl will forever bitch about CVs no matter what. If they try to “rebalance” them before anything else, the game will be forever suck in the way it is now. Subs will counter your CV’s and you could counder them with DD’s. Sounds perfect but naaaah let’s wait for the CV nerf that never happens before giving them natural a counter, makes sense.

Making sub videos when it's been months with no word on what's going on with subs in-game... I made a clan and was so hyped, regular WoWS has become so bland and repetitive, submarines brought new content and tactics to spice things up.

Subs have very much the same effect as dead eye has, they reward and encourage passive camping gameplay

Add seehund WORLD OF WARSHIPS?
If subs do get added, this is what I think should be done:
Torpedo damage fits right between aerial torpedo damage and destroyer torpedo damage (damage range sits in between).
Maybe one has to fire THREE or so pings at the same spot to trigger a damage increase in the torpedo.
Definitely the forced surfacing part; perhaps an increased-capacity oxygen level, only now it can force a sub to surface if it gets too low.
Maybe more ideas for subs...

When these vessel's are added to the game, it will not last long. Then we have one class that spot all and kill what it wants. Another class that will not be spotted and are the only class with guided munitions. If you hate the DE play these days, I can promise you that you have seen nothing yet.
