- Get ready to join us for 3 weeks of adventure as we travel across Singapore, Australia and Malaysia in our biggest trip so far! In this vlog we go sightseeing in Singapore and check out the beautiful Gardens By The Bay. This 250 acre nature park is absolutely gorgeous and features a variety of different gardens and experiences including the OCBC Skyway. We also take a look inside Marina Bay Sands, a HUGE impressive hotel complex and take a stroll along Marina Bay!

Hi Sean and Charlotte, love your videos, we started watching a few years ago. The one thing my wife and I would add is more of you talking to the camera, rather than majority talking while the camera is facing away from you. Not sure if it’s the way you want to go with your videos but we’re always waiting to see your face for reactions rather than 80% camera facing away from the two of you. For example, it would be brilliant to see both of you talking to the camera as you walk out onto the sky garden to not just hear but visibly see your facial expressions. Even if videos were brought up to 50% facing you both, and 50% facing away that’d make a huge difference. Just something that’d make us love your content even more. Sorry if I’m nitpicking! So proud of what you’ve both accomplished over the years and just wanted to add my (hopefully!) helpful feedback. Anyway, have a wonderful 2023 and hope our paths cross at some point in the future 😊

Singapore looks stunning, it really does.
It's also one of the safest countries in the world to visit or live in apparently because the authorities come down very very hard on criminals when prosecuting them.
A very good deterrent in my opinion.
This is exactly what we have needed in Britain for the last 20 years or so, but NOT had resulting in high violent crime rates as of 2023.

Wow Singapore has got so many amazing special incredible places to explore with the different spectacular most beautiful scenery backdrops including the large scale of planting buildings attractions the fountains floating Apple Store there’s so much to process in your short Singapore trip, great advice about would worth hitting the tourist spots is the best thing to do on your first and possibly only trip to Singapore. I agree 💯 percent

I’ve been Singapore. I loved it! I loved Singapore universal too! Docked near the hotel with the ship ontop next to the marina and walked through the gardens by the bay. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever been to

Our daughter and her husband visited Singapore 🇸🇬 20 years ago during their year out world trip and pre children. 😂😂 They loved it and took the cable car over to Sentosa Island then which has now changed so much. Such a pity with time restraints you didn’t get to see it lit up at night and enjoy a Singapore Sling in the Raffles Hotel.
What a lovely views of Gardens by the Bay from the Skyway. Great area with lots of food options and I liked the opportunity to pay individually for things you want to visit. Great Disney Contemporary resort reference from Charlotte, along with Shawn’s Venetian Hotel reference regarding the hotel. Looking forward to more views from the Singapore Flyer next time.

I've read fines for littering can be up to a 1000 dollars. And you can't import or sell large amounts of chewing gum. So that's probably why it's so clean. Honestly ... it looks like it's from the future.

Brilliant look at Singapore. Love that you don't vlog loads of food places, although if food is part of the adventure then you could make an exception. Love your Refreshing style of vlog, much more down to earth then any I have seen. Just relaxing stroll soaking up the atmosphere is so underrated. Can't wait to see the next one!👍

We spent a week here in Feb 2022 and the place was still a ghost town due to covid. We absolutely loved it!

It’s a beautiful place
Gardens by the Bay is actually best experienced at night when the city lights are up and the Supertrees themselves are lit. It’s less peaceful for sure as the crowds arrive, but the vibe and views are much nicer. There’s also a Light and Sound show there in the evening, with the music done by yours truly.

Roof gardens are actually called roof decks and tend to be astroturf and chairs with the occasional piece of lawn furniture. Although sometimes you get a grill or something extra. Seen in nyc quite a lot.

Welcome to Singapore. Hope you guys had a good time sight seeing at Marina Bay Sands. OCBC Skywalk stand for ( Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation). You would require at least 3 to 4 days to explore Singapore. There are many places to sight see for free. You guys should also try out our local food at the hawker food. They are inexpensive and you can find a variety of food you would enjoy. The city area is much more expensive if you are here on a budget. Hope to see more vlogs from you guys soon. Cheers !!!

My wife and I went on our once in a lifetime trip to Australia in 1990 except it wasn't, after our children grew up we went back in 2018 and was all booked for 2020 but now going again in November and can't wait. I am sure you and Charlotte will love Australia and will get to go again in the future. What day were you at Gardens by the bay as it seemed really quiet

Singapore has changed so much since i was there, we were able to get quite close the the fish/lion fountains, there was two, one in each side of the river. Pity you can’t see it at night, the lights are spectacular, but Hong Kong is even better. Can’t believe you’ve only got two small suitcases 😁 Enjoy

I dont know if you noticed from the wheel but you can see the main straight and pit lane of the Marina Bay street circuit used by F1 since thats permanant

You should get into Formula 1 Shaun and Charlotte. The Singapore Grand Prix would be an incredible event to attend
Shawn, The Cloud Forest Dome is cooler than the tropical sections of The Eden Project because the Cloud Forest is so high up the mountains so they lower the temperature for the plants. Come back next time its like Jurassic Park/Pandora with the mist (supposed to looked like a fog)
and on top of Marina Bay Sands is the Largest Infinity Pool in the world but only hotel guests can access it. The viewing deck is open to tourists but is limited to one section (the farmost tip)

You can get an amazing views of Blackpool from the Blackpool tower I went up the higher level and the views wow was just incredible.

Singapore is amazing at night time, just random light n laser shows with fire for free. So clean and tidy,the gardens are amazing, just near by is street luges you can ride and cable car.
Hope you guys goto the top of the hotel for spectacular views where you can see the whole place, visit the Singapore lion/fish landmark for iconic picture, being a fussy eater also myself i had resort to McDonald's, expensive place Singapore and one for lovers of brands when you go to the shopping district.
The worst part of my trip to Singapore was infact universal studios, it was such a let down I'm afraid to say, purely because of the lack of good rides and the main coaster wasn't working also.
Strangest thing was learning chewing gum is banned there, you won't find it anywhere, stops the mess on the pavement.
We’ll definitely have to head back here in the future!
The skyway walk should have been done at night - when there is a light show and the lanterns are all lip up. That's really when it is designed for.
