Exhaust is one of the best things about a car. Cruising tone is where we spend 75% of our time.

Corsa Xtreme is the best sounding exhaust for the 392’s but it’s pretty penny

I wish I had that set up on my charger I did get my cradle bushings installed but I need that exhaust system now and hellcat wheels replica

Your fortunate you don’t have the active exhaust valves. Much easier to experiment with mufflers and not have to worry about CEL coming on. I know from your other videos you drove the Charger/Challengers with it. Curious to know how it compares. When you get it installed and you have a minute, please let me know. Maybe you could even do a Video on the differences. A lot of us now have the active exhaust and am curious about going after market.
This has a piece for those with active exhaust valves - it goes right behind where the muffler sits.

Can’t wait to hear it brotha . I currently have magnaflow muffler as well I just don’t know which one but it says magnaflow on the bottom. It’s a bigger suitcase than yours, and they’re a bit quiet I’m wondering if I should just do a delete for now. Btw use the tips it came with they look good.
yah the tips it came with look great - the whole system is really nice.
If it's bigger than a suitcase, your car probably has a chambered muffler. They are more restrictive and quieter. They tend to have a deeper tone. I would try the muffler delete especially if your car has resonators and cats.
Hu 3.7 Hey there bro definitely will be doing that since mine are bigger I’m leaning to them not being louder. I am more than likely going to take them off. This is on the r/t though. I am going to see if I can find a used exhaust system that will sound loud eventually for it.
@@DavidVlogz I assumed you were talking about the R/T. Many R/T owners remove either the mid mufflers or the axle back and are quite happy with the sound. R/T Life removed the mid muffler on his car before he upgraded. He can give you more info.
Longer = quiet
Shorter = louder
Do you have a decibel reader? It’ll be nice to see the actual sound difference as well.
How high dB are you aiming for? And are you wanting the deep throat growl?

My RT is not loud at all it was 122.6 last time I checked. A hellcat with a mid delete is 128.2. I would imagine this setup will get me louder than the hellcat. We will see though - I'm ok with loud as long as their is no drone

Racer X TH-camr got this a few weeks back for his Scatpack and it sounds pretty good. He did a dyno run as well and it picked up a couple extra ponies, without the mufflers. I think you're ride will be louder than his because of the headers you have.

Your going to love the straight through no muffler design. I have a big build going right now but my exhaust is stainless works 2" longtube no cats with 2.5" x pipe with dynomax race bullets and 4" tips.

Awesome dude, was debating on a magniflow for my 2019 Challenger Rt, think I’m gonna spend a little extra though and go with the Corsa Extreme with the quad black tips, bout 1,900$ plus install. Just to try and get the most sound out of her, ya know? Good stuff

Are you going for louder than 129.2? LoL should sound good. I had a MagnaFlow system on my 90 G body. I won't say it's the best a car could sound but it was a 4-cyl and I got ⅓ off. It was cheaper than OEM when the exhaust decided to bid me adieu.
My RT right now is pretty quiet - I would assume it would be close to 129 with the no mufflers but we will see.

Yah he has a stock 392 so I wouldn’t imagine a catback being much help. It’s def a nice setup though

Hey R/T. If it was me, I would not use those 5 inch tips. The reason I say that is because if you ever heat one of those people that have a 4 cyl that's what they have on their car. I would go with the regular tip on that car. I can guarantee it will sound like you want it. It will get rid of that raspy sound, and have more of a deep throated sound. Just sayin man, you do what you want though ok. Take care man.

The XMod series is currently available for the 2018-20 Mustang GT. Magnaflow lists the price at $3,000. For Mopars, the price will be at least that much if not a little more. Racer X had the same exhaust sent to him and there were modest horsepower and torque gains over the stock system. If I remember correctly, the gains were about 8 horsepower and 7 foot pounds of torque. That works out to about $400 per horsepower. I can see Hellcat and Redeye owners installing this exhaust system on their cars. If you can afford the car in the first place, what's another $3,000? For most people owning lower trims, the price will be too much. The best part of the design is that it offers noise cancellation of undesirable frequencies so you won't get drone. I wouldn't pay that much for a catback system.
Yah I haven't seen an official price yet but I'm sure it will be up there. This is really such a nice setup & will be a welcome upgrade over what I currently have. Catbacks really are only needed once you start modifying your ride - RacerX I believe is stock. Put a forced air setup on that 392 & see how it does before/after the exhaust upgrade.

I don't have 4 cylinder mode anymore - the exhaust though sounds great with little to no drone while the windows are up
R/T Life thank you. Any thoughts of getting the drone out, thought of 1794 resonators or J-piping it.. I had deleted mid-mufflers and deleted resonators. I added flow master 10, thought it would help drone, It doesn’t your thoughts or help

Security Dodge and Racer X's wies Challenger had 4 Carbon Fiber tips.
Anyone who has hemi before 2016 is s.o.l for this system. You have to have active exhaust is what i was told.
What exhaust would you recommend for my hemi quad cab I have long tube headers no cats straight piped to 40 series flow master and honestly not the greatest sound looking for new set up

Does the xmod fit the 2018 RTs? It says on magnaflows page it only fits 2020+ models
It should - not much different between any of the 15+ R/T models

No fan of using XPIPE on V8. Lose deep muscle rumble to raspy scream. Rather see you remove XPIPE and leave exhaust pipes divorced from each other. Might be amazed on hearing old school V8 muscle bark.
it's really there for better exhaust flow - I have to check out what it sounds like with no x pipe
R/T Life . Pity people think it’s for flow. Doesn’t do really anything other than destroy V8 natural beat by smashing exhaust pulses from each pipe into one another and smoothing exhaust note. Dyno testing showed 1hp gain @ 6000rpm. Who drives at rev limit and wouldn’t even notice 1hp gain. H pipe also had no effect on exhaust flow. All these crossovers pipes did was change exhaust note. Keeping the pipes separated gave best sound. True V8 sound. Think Shelby Cobra with divorced side pipes!
Why not just remove the mufflers on the old set up and it’s the exact same thing as the new one ain’t it...🤷🏻♂️. Btw my old user name was Eric Keen the guy from Az one of your first subs when you started!😉
That’s what I was planning on doing at some point - although I wasn’t looking forward to messing up the piping. But, magnaflow sent this for me to test out. So it worked out great.
Sounds great but if u know u want the loudest level without the drone/rasp, can’t u just buy a J pipe instead of the entire $2800 system and save like $2700 lol
yup - you can do that. This is for people that want the research done for them & have the proper sized J pipe - also have the flexibility to go straight piped to mufflers with relative ease.
