When IL&FS (which is a Shadow Bank) defaulted 1000 crores repayment to SIDBI, why SIDBI approached to RBI. As per your initial explanation Shadow Banks are not regulated by RBI & any other organisations right

Huge short term funfds for long term projects?
I wonder whether the company employed B. Com IInd year students as CFOs, COOs, CEOs as Financial Advisors and the Board of Directors were 12th fail chaps and did not call IIM Finance bright graduate guys to manage funds.?
