You don't have to do all the things and run yourself ragged. Not going to the zoo or only going to one pumpkin patch or maybe even skipping it this year will not hurt your kids, and it doesn't mean you're not a good mom. I feel your stress and just want you to know that you're a good mom. Even if you need to not do as many things this year.❤ Sometimes, I feel like our society is obsessed with doing all the things and being so busy doing this, doing that, going here, going there, etc. I personally have chosen not to live like that.
It will hurt me if we don’t do those things. Lol those things are what make life worth it. You hose are the fun moments the moments we turn into memories ❤
I misunderstood and thought the thought of doing it all was stressing you out. If that makes you happy, of course I hope you can do those things! I understand it's been a very stressful time. Hugs.
Truly want to THANK all the amazing people who are working tirelessly, to clean up Florida. Also Kimberly I’m just so happy that you and your family are doing well ❤❤❤. Sending you all my love, hugs, and prayers ❤❤❤.
Samaritan Purse is still cleaning up houses and properties here in NC. Came back from voting this afternoon and there were so many cleaning up homes and their property across the river. Made my heart melt at their kindness. God bless them all. 🙏
For the party, remember that food and people are really all you need for a great party. If you order food and cake and only decorate photo ops, it will be awesome!
Oh Kim it’s so great to see you in higher spirits and I’m so grateful you guys came out of this situation safe, although maybe a little shaken. Your videos add a little happy in my day every day you post! Thank you for being such a source of light in such a dark time. Keep being awesome!!
We lost electricity for a mere 24 hours once after a December derecho. It was definitely overwhelming. We didn't know how long it would be. We're in a VERY small town, and our little town hall opened and had juice and donuts. We got to visit with some elderly people who I'd not met before. It was actually the loveliest part!
When Sandy hit us in 2012 we lost power for a week. We were so grateful to all the linemen from other states that helped restore our power. We have city water/sewer so we had water. We also have gas stoves so we could cook a little bit. Electricity is a wonderful thing and I'm so grateful for it.
I lived through Sandy and live less than a mile from the bay at the Jersey Shore. Our electric was out a week too. I remember having to drive a half hour to get cell service and waiting hours for gas to be told they were empty. Yes you appreciate all of the little things. It has taken a very long time for some to rebuild
I remember my husband getting up early in the morning to get in line for gas. We went to Barnes and Noble one day to see everyone in there charging there phones. We had it good compared to some.
Hi from CT...So thankful for people like your husband. I'm positive he was here in CT helping during one of our storms at some point...truly appreciate him taking time away from his own family to help out others♥♥♥
Wow! What you and your family have been through is beyond comprehension! You and Alex are modeling for your children how to remain resilient when challenges arise in life. Such a valuable lesson. I live in Colorado and we periodically face fire disasters. I’m wondering if the food in your freezer made it for 5 days. Take a deep breath and take a moment to take care of yourself. You’re rocking it!
Bless it girl! Next purchase is a whole house generator! We live in NE Texas & our power goes out just for giggles sometimes.we purchased one a few years ago & it has been amazing. I send you guys hugs & prayers for all of those who suffered in the hurricanes! I can not imagine!
I am so happy that you are getting back to normal! For me it was like having a relative or a good friend in the hurricane s path. I prayed and prayed for God to place His hand over Florida and protect you all! So glad to see your smiling face!!
Hi Kim, insurance companies are a scam. I live in California close to brushfire area. Have to buy two separate policies to remain insured. For the last 10 years, I was paying anywhere from $1200 to $2k. Now, it's close to $6k/year. I have to get insurance since I still have mortgage. My parents don't even live near a brushfire and there's went up 24%.
Years ago I was cooking dinner when a storm came through and knocked our power out for days. Well, in the chaos I did not turn the burner off and something plastic got sat on the stove. When the power came back on so did my stove and it caught the plastic on fire 😂. I can laugh now because luckily my husband was up and put it out! Luckily no harm was done but we definitely learned a lesson!
I never take for granted having electricity, water, and internet lol. Hopefully your chickens are okay, I didn't see their coop or them when you did the outside damage video? Happy Birthday Wolfgang 🎉. Here's to back to normal again ❤🎉❤🎉.
talking about Fried food. In Edimburg there is a small place that fries literally anything and everthing. You can have fried pizza. We had one Fried Mars bar. It was delicious ! So rich that we had to share it !
Glad you're safe. 😂 You're hyper after all the stress. Wish I could give you a hug. You and your family gave many so many more gray hairs worrying about your safety. Our prayers were with you as was God. Stay safe. 🙏💙🙏
I can totally relate to what you were saying to people’s lives going on if they weren’t affected, I was flooded and had to move out and salvage what I could and demolish what needed to go, I was amazed that it was a faded memory to the majority 😢 it it daunting
I never take electricity, water, groceries stores etc and internet for granted and prepare to be without. Saw no coop or Chickens. Happy Birthday Wolfgang. Take care. Prayers for Tennessee,N & S Caroline and. Va and Florida
You are thriving!? Getting by minute by minute!! Making memories good & not so good. Doing what needs to be done!! 😊❤ Decluttering is always good for the soul!! Hopefully your power comes back on soon; and for good!! Stay safe 😊❤
So fantastic to hear how grateful you are in the face of all that has happened. Happy early bday to Wolfgang. Looking forward to seeing/hearing about birthday season this year. My kids always enjoy watching and rewatching your birthday videos to get ideas for their parties.
Keep in mind for next time and the only reason I’m saying this is because I saw someone else that lived in Florida have to do this. Your backyard flooded and you have a lake so if you ever run out of water to flush the toilet, washing it to flush your toilets, just fine. That way you can save the water for other things. I also saw people using their pool water.
Not having power is so horrible, you are doing a great job dealing with it all. I cracked up when you laid across the washing machines and the laundry room and so you need a vacation, you hang in there we are here for you!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think of you and your family everyday. You are on my daily prayer list. You are amazing and you truly care for your family and just people in general! I love you girl ❤
This is so relatable to how we felt after Helene. Our area was devastated and an hr away people didn't even know what happened they were just going on with life while we were panic buying gas and food. Life is so weird sometimes.
I can give a testimony for LMNT. I use to have swollen ankles and I had a doctor sayI needed to be on a low salt diet. I started drinking one LMNT each day no more swelling. Great product
So glad that everything appears to be back to normal. Wolfgang have a happy, happy birthday party. Enjoy and celebrate With all of your family and friends. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The best birthdays are always go with the flow! Dont put pressure on yourself it will work out exactly how its supposed to. Maybe Try a potluck get together with some kids crafts or diy desserts or something. Always fun for littles
We had unexpected storm here in Brazil, nothing close to a hurricane. But we lost electricity for days. There are a lot of people still without power a week after it happened.
I’m feeling the all doing the best we can because we haven’t had a natural disaster recently but I feel like I’m constantly cleaning up like we did 😂 just trying to get a handle on everything one doom pile at a time lol
I am always inspired by your ingenuity and enthusiasm, Kim. Especially during difficult times … and Milton was a rough one. Love how the family has pitched in and you all supported one another (with or without electricity!)
I’m in Ga and we lost power for 8 days when Helene hit .. there wasn’t any power in my entire county or surrounding counties. It was a very strange feeling. So glad y’all got your power back and didn’t have any damage to your home. We didn’t have damage to ours either, thank the Lord!
Highly recommend picking up one of those extending scrub brushes for your tub! I got one from Walmart for pretty cheap and it came with a few attachments. Nothing fancy, doesn’t spin or anything but saves my back!!
So glad the power is back on. My family's power (in Cocoa) was off for 3 days. Praying the power comes back on and stays on. Everything looks great! Especially since you've been without power for so long. UGH!! I want to know how on earth you clean with bleach and never get it on your clothes? How???? I can't even look at the bleach bottle without getting little specks all over me. It drives me crazy!! I have to clean the bathrooms after everyone goes to bed so I can take off my clothes. lol You amaze me!! Thanks and good luck with the birthday party!! Get a box of dress up costumes and let them explore the yard. Find treasure in the sandbox (if the water has receded)

Hey Kim, just purchased an LMNT Insider Bundle subscription to support you and the fam (and also because my beloved Liquid IV doesn't have magnesium and I've come to really need extra in my diet). ❤
Good morning to you Kim and all the fans! Your life will start to feel like normal someday. Take it slow and easy and take care of yourself Kim. Life goes on and will get better. Insurance companies are such a pain when disasters strike. The bounce house are always a hit with kids. Look at Alex go with the dishes. He is a real gem! We don't take the modern convinces for granted after not having them. Keep the spider for Halloween!😂enjoyed your video once again Thak you!
We get new siding from our insurance company today because of the hale we had a couple of months ago. We got a new roof right away but the siding we had to prove we couldn't color match to get the entire house done. Stay safe ❤

What cheese do you find after a hurricane?? de brie 😂😂

Just because they are going to their job doesn’t mean they weren’t affected. Healthcare doesn’t stop.
Exactly the motivation I need for this morning! Due on Tuesday and need to get this house whipped into shape 👏🏻
Dude, that cornbread cookie has a CULT following. PEOPLE LOVE IT!
My husband is a "tree guy" lol (we live in pa) and I just wanna say THANK YOU for acknowledging them and what they do bc a lot of people don't! ❤❤❤
