Preparation of nanocomposite Ag/alginate hydrogels with honey

Dr Jasmina Stojkovska (Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade) explains how to prepare antimicrobial nanocomposite alginate hydrogels containing silver nanoparticles and honey in forms of microfibers and beads. I was wondering what if we makke aqueous solution of silver nitrate and then add honey into that.. that way time can be reduced.
