This show proved it. They didn't even wait to see the reaction after it got hotter and hotter. They just ended early lol. Missed the entire point.

Sean and his staff respect the guests as well as the viewers and dig up thoughtful questions that consistently touch the guests. He’s a better interviewer than anyone at this table, or anyone on late night tv, other than perhaps Conan. Sean: you’re the man

Sean does great research, and does a pain staking amount of work creating a bond with his guests and is probably one of the best interviewers in the game, please put respect on his name. It started as a novelty and has developed into an awesome and legitimately entertaining and quality interview show.

How do most of these shows forget that Shawn is doing better than all of you not just because of the wings. He is an extremely fun, smart and entertaining host, with a very dedicated team who comes up with extremely interesting questions.
But to admit that would required at least an ounce of self-reflection. So of course they focus on the gimmick and not the true reason for success.
I love that Al Roker chose a lame joke clip when highlighting his appearance on Hot Ones
i love how the explaining "Hot Ones" segment is specifically tailored to the boomers who have NO IDEA what "the youtubes" is and how it works......
Sean is such an awesome guy, glad to see him getting even more attention now! Also Al is great as well, a true gent.
Excellent exposure! Well earned, and to pile onto the Colbert Late show appearance. More people need to see Sean in action and what the team does- it's so much more than the gimmick of the hot wings. How many times have we seen the guest say "That's a Good Question" ? More with Sean (+research staff) than anyone else I've ever witnessed. The quality of the interviewing AND the chameleon matching of tone and personality to go with each guest is simply superb. So happy for this and to watch the star continue to soar!!
Proud of Sean for being on Today. Disappointed in the hosts for not going for it. Take a real bite... Or even just a bite.

Hot ones isn't about the wings, its an experience, an amazing host and staff who *really care* about their guests. Never have I ever enjoyed a "talk show" as much as Hot Ones (plus its the only one where literally every guest at some point says "thats a great question") Sean you're the best of the best, keep it up my dude!

She answered all our questions the wings ARE cold !
The wings begin hot/warm, but taping is way longer than the 25 minutes or so that is shown. I would presume it takes them over an hour to get the footage they need. So... the wings get cold. You can imagine on a show like Today - that probably takes four hours for them to 'perfect' everything.
